why have they added the random red highlight under certain defense players pre-snap. Seems to be no rhyme or reason and never corresponds to anything the announcers are saying.

Ummmm what? Have you been watching every 3rd and long? We played soft as can be and pedal backwards. That is the opposite of putting your players in a position to win. That is a loser approach.

I mean half their 3rd down conversions are missed tackled. Missed tackles are the fault of the player not executing as it means the player was put in a position to succeed and could not.
