the defense, Like the whole team for the past 31 years..........Overhyped by Jerry...

No, overhyped by the fans.....AND the pundits who all said this defense is decidedly better. I just don't trust this TEAM. Not the defensive players (the secondary was always going to be suspect with Hooker out there as a key contributor). And the offense, I don't trust these lackluster play calls, and ineffective running plays. So Schotty's as an OC is suspect.

Where the hell is CD? Why is the 1st read so often Pickens???

Let's hope the kicker and the punter remain solid.

I like CP's attempt at deception. Just not sure if we have the players to execute said deception. Playing zone requires discipline and some cleverness. That's a lot to ask of this defense, who still can't even stay home on bootlegs against what who they know is a mobile QB.

8 of the 11 are new starters on defense compared to start of 2025. Going to take some time for the defense to gel.
