you guys need to learn to let some things go. No one player is going to put most of the teams over the hump.

Actually, this year there is as much as 12-13 or 17-18. It usually isn’t that much, but because there are a bunch of teams at 8 wins or could have 8 wins, it makes a big difference because our 8-8-1 would fall behind every 8-9 in draft order. 7-8-1 pushes us ahead of them all. As many as 7 teams, though unlikely all finish with 8 wins.
