Jaxson Dart looks dramatically better than last year. Maybe Harbaugh is making a bigger difference than I gave him credit for

Last year, it was Lamb with the drive-killing drops in the opener. This year, it's Pickens.

The first one he dropped would have been erased by the penalty on us, but we at least would have got another shot on third down.

The second one took points off the board. Could be the difference between us being up 10-7 or 14-7 instead of down 14-7.

WTH was that last sequence on defense???? Sorry..Locke didn't play one snap in the pre-season and it showed. He's completely lost out there. That 3 deep zone is crap.....Hell 2 of our safeties were 40-50 yards down field more than content letting people run wide open.

Two most disappointing things with first half:

• Defense continuing last year’s atrocious habit of just blowing assignments and coverages. Looking lost again at times.
• Schotty’s gutless 4th and inches surrender set the tone. On a team needing some confidence and swagger, that seemed like a weak decision.

Shcotty needs fired tonight if he losses to the Giants. Lose tonight and your season is over.
