Every fanbase has people that put way too much into a game. It's actually sad being so deeply impacted by something you have no control or say in.
IMO that's exactly why Eagles fans have such well deserved bad rap IMO at the game. Last NFL game I was at a long time ago when I lived in Pa was Veterans stadium watching the eagles play the cowboys. I was smart enough to keep my mouth shut as I knew I was outnumbered LOL

For the first drive in yesterdays game, and even after they (cowboys) scored after that pick 6, I actually thought that the cowboys could win this game. I had to run a errand for my wife at the end of the second half, I left when it was 17-7 thinking the cowboys could come back, and the next thing I know in the last two minutes of the first half it became 24-7 and I was thinking the route is going to be on the second half...

I get bummed and disappointed, but at the end of the day it's just a game and really doesn't affect my life in anyway other than how I let it affect me. Life's to short to let a game you don't play dictate your mood for more than a day IMO. It also makes for nicer level headed fans IMO LOL

You maybe should expand your dataset outside the division to see how we fare against top teams. And the Eagles are a top team this year; they're 13-3. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.
Apparently you can't read or comprehend what you're reading no one's saying they weren't a top team but they beat the Dallas Cowboys backups they literally we got to see Cooper rush and the first game we're missing a handful of players short handed and they beat us and then again they shot us more short handed in the second game even more guys are out they didn't have to face our actual starters in either game and yet you're giving them credit for beating backups and you're telling me that I should look at Prescott's record outside the division how about their record against Prescott again they almost never can beat him nine and four that's his record against the eagles they did not have to see him once this year did not comprehend they beat back up this is how they got to the Super bowl a couple years back they got to play the giants and we we haven't lost to in like a decade and then they got to see San Francisco with their third string quarterback this is what the eagles do this is what happens teams beat up on the week they don't typically even beat anybody where they above 500 record or anybody impressive...

To stop trying to change my point my point is the eagles are not heads and tails better than the Cowboys they are better than our backups they are clearly better than our preseason roster they literally beat our backups to death yes you want credit for that you act like there's a gap there is not a big gap because when Prescott's there last year where was the gap we won the division last year? Literally the gap is only there with the teams are meeting each other short handed and we're not talking about a few players missing the Dallas Cowboys are one of the most injured teams in the league it did everything they could to try to get back to 500 and you think there's a big gap now the gap is in your brain you literally not understanding what you're watching you think the Cowboys should have been more competitive against the eagles missing so many key players starters starters backups yeah great they played with a backup quarterback with an all in team this just says jalen hurts is not as good as he looks that's one of those system teams that they can plug in a lot of people like they do it with the 49ers but hey do you wanna talk about that team we can how come they failed this year oh it was because of injuries the Cowboys had twice as many to twice as many key areas...

so go ahead talk about it as if the eagles and the rest of the division somehow gapped us no they gapped our backups... To suggest otherwise would make you a hater you just don't like Jerry Jones so you want to say hey everything that happened in the offseason, it came true..

No to a degree some of that might be true, but truly the injuries already created the gap would the Cowboys have been much better I don't know but they sure would have been A10 win team if it doesn't show you the fact that we might win 8 games this year with a mass unit you don't think somehow if we'd have kept most of our starters the entire year we'd have got back on track and made a run at this at ten wins and got in the playoffs, I say yes...

But that's OK you get your opinion I get mine and right now I'm telling you the injuries are the major reason the Cowboys fell off sure Jerry Jones could've been better there's no way to be that deep there's no way even a really good offseason could've saved this season and again you wanna prove who has some of the best off seasons ever than the best coaching staff in the GMs on the planet that would be the 49ers and they couldn't come up with a way to beat those teams in that division which were down this year and it was because of injuries it was just a plain fact that they couldn't overcome even half the injuries that we had and their division was not strong this year it was pretty weak...

Most of us think there's a big gap in talent this year even if Dak has been really dominant versus Philly over the years.
QB Philly
RB Philly
T Philly by a huge margin
G Philly
C Philly
TE Philly
WR Philly
DE Dallas
DT Philly by a large margin
LB Philly
CB Philly
S Philly
ST Dallas

You need to work on brevity. I don't have the time to read the entirety of your lengthy post(s).

But from the part i read, you talk about the eagles having only beat our backups....did we not just lose to their 3rd and 4th string QBs 41 -7?

We were swept by a score of 75 - 13 this year. We are light years away from their level atm. They are in another galaxy.

I agree, we would be pushing for a playoff berth without the rash of injuries. We won 12 games the last 3 years... and almost every time we went up against the top teams we still got our doors blown off. See the niners, bills, chiefs, packers, etc. This team has feasted on a weak division and weak opponents for years. And every time they step up in weight class they get knocked senseless. They beat the Eagles last year, yes, but this year's Eagles are exponentially better than last year's.

Detroit has far more injuries on D than Dallas and they are in contention for the 1 seed. If the GM builds a good roster teams can withstand injuries. Dallas has a top heavy roster with poor depth.

And the Eagles were without their starting MLB so they weren’t 100% healthy outside the QB.

meh OR the eagles and Washington feasted on weak beat up division, conference, and teams like SF having a down yer its a mirage!!!! it week to week and year to year.. the eagles are not better.. sorry..not seeing it..

buy the hype. iwont. it will have to be proven in the playoffs. hype is all hyp until you go further than you ever have, that would be a SUPERBOWL WIN>.anything short of that says they are the same as they always have been,..
