Again the team is scoring more points with the former. Nothing you said refutes that fact. The goal of the offense is to score points and they are scoring less. Now the stats would try to explain that. The passing yards are way down, the turnovers are way up but at the end of the day the simplest metric is that the offense is doing worse because they are not doing their one job which is to score points.
