There was hope as he began to come on towards the end of 2015, so yes I expected hed progress and become a good player for us. Then last year he started off with the suspension and never returned to form.

He's had a bunch of back injuries and surgeries to this point in his career. He seems to have this reputation as a "underachiever" but I just think he's been victim of his own body.
He's shown flashes in the past that he can get to the quarterback. I don't know about 10 sacks but 6-8 sacks seems doable if he can stay healthy.

I was optimistic after his one good season too. But there's nothing indicating he'll ever reach that level again. Everyone - most of all him - would like to see him have great success, but nobody can count on it.

Exactly! I am not trying to rag on the author, but what would make him throw that out there. To me just a total waste of his energy.
If we polled a 100 people with that question, 99 will say NO and the only vote yes would be from DrMarcus himself.

Agreed, and exactly why Ive lost any faith in him being a double digit sack presence. Although those flashes earlier will still leave me hoping for more.

No question he can...The bigger question is...Can this coaching staff use the player correctly? I'm so tired of hearing this is all on D-Law..when it's this staff that has limitied his snaps....Used him in poor match ups...and has never given him consistant playing time. I would love to see him under another coaching staff that know what they are doing. And have some sort of decent game plan.
