What are you calling intelligent, the ones with the political liberal point of view or the ones the more political conservative point of view? Can't they discern their intelligence without involving politics?

Knowing who holds a high public office is not a poltical opinion. It is a fact and it just shows they aren't completely uninformed.

I already said this much, need I repeat myself?
Being asked political questions seems odd to me. If it were just a civics question on the function of government then yeah maybe so but asking a question that has a political answers seems off base to me.

It's actually somewhat refreshing to me that there's more requirements to be one other than just being fine and able to shake something.
I like that they know about the environment tight shorts and care about their civics, high boots, cleavage and world affairs.
Sort of like pretending we are patriotic before the kickoff.

Wait, we want THEM to be smarter, but seeing something like this makes me dumber....THAT should be on the quiz "what move will you do during a game to make Cowboy fans forget that they haven't been to a Super Bowl in a year starting with a '2'? "

it is not ideological to know who is President, etc. Or governor of the state, etc. Not sure why you want to talk about ideology.

I've already said this much and I don't want to talk about ideology. Why are you attempting to engage in a argument that we all know is not allowed here? I only mentioned political ideology to ask why it would matter to being a DCC.

and thus you were the one that started it. So look in the mirror for someone to blame.

And I am done with this.

Well, it IS just a civics question, but you're going on about it as if it was a political question...so maybe not come across as being confused.

Asking the question, "why is it relevant?" is starting it? NO, it takes two to make an argument and so the argument is not started until the counterpoint is stated... that was you, wisenheimer.

I concede your point and I never intended the discussion to be a politically ideological.

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: 5 Surprises about DCC Auditions
by Kristi Scales | Apr 14, 2017 | Articles, Entertainment
http://www.5pointsblue.com/5-surprises-about-dcc-auditions/

Returning DCC veterans must re-audition every year.

Just because they were on the squad last year doesn’t mean a veteran automatically returns to this year’s squad. Veterans must audition every year. They never automatically keep their spot on the squad, but they do skip the first two rounds and go straight to the third/final round which in 2017 takes place on Saturday, May 13th.

There’s a written test for all finalists.

Finalists entering Round 3 take a 100-question written test which is factored into the overall evaluation. The test includes current events, pop culture, general football knowledge, and Cowboys’ team history.
Examples of previous questions include: Who is the current U.S. Secretary of State? Who is the owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys? How many yards are assessed for a personal foul penalty?

There’s a panel interview for all finalists.

DCC represent the Cowboys’ brand to fans, sponsors, corporate executives, military members and political leaders around the world. They must be articulate and knowledgeable.
“On the Friday before the Final Round, you come to the stadium for the panel interview,” explains Melissa, a 3-year veteran. “Interviews are a level playing field because you don’t know the questions in advance. The judges sit across the table from you and the questions come rapid-fire. Hopefully you know the answer and maybe you can add a little humor and wit. You want to show some personality, but it’s more important to get the answer right.”...

Do they sell tickets for this - to watch rounds 1 and 2????

That's the only requirement in the auditions for the Eagles cheerleaders.

That's gotta hurt Jones' ego whenever a cheerleader candidate gets that question wrong.

I would expect the trials to be open for viewing...

I doubt it.
They are up on the walk around where they have party pass area.
I doubt it would be big enough and there would be too much noise as the judges are right there.
