count me out on Moore, he needs to first establish he can attack weakness shown by D’s consistently and also show he can make in game adjustments for stronger D’s. Gimmick plays for good for desperate shots or when leaning very comfortable to test it. But he needs to straight up beat the D’s with game plans and adjustments.

Jerry wasn't any where offering the head coach job to his defensive coordinator, but explained his value on the current market. This with still a Cowboys advantage as things exist going into this season.

The lissue is Jerry continous need to be seen as the emperor is how a HC loses authority. When Jerry reminds everyone McCarthy won't be coaching Dallas forever and Quinn could coach Dallas it undermines McCarthy. Players know it and when issues arise they know JJ will be the final say, so McCarthy words are empty. It's exactly why Jimmy Johnson did not allow Jerry into the lockeroom. He undersood the dynamics of control and optics of Jerry and his ego. It's exactly why Dallas will not have a Superbowl with Jerry alive.

No we need an owner that allows a HC to control the team and the coach can articulate the achievements of his coordinators skills. Jerry erodes team continuity and disrupts the authority of the HC.
