8:32 pm "It definitely gets our attention, because I know that Andy Reid is going to have those guys ready. It's the playoffs and he always has them ready to play." - Cowboys WR Patrick Crayton on beating a team three times in a season.

8:30 pm "He's been great, he's taken on a great leadership role and he has been putting the ball on the money. Everyone is doing their job and that's why we have been able to win the past couple of games." - Cowboys WR Miles Austin on the play of QB Tony Romo and his teammates.

8:27 pm "Momentum is a huge thing in this game. You see it every week in this league. The teams that really start playing the best football seem to have the most success as the playoffs start rolling." - Cowboys TE Jason Witten.

7:09 pm In the long history of the Dallas Cowboys' franchise, they have never had back-to-back shutouts. The Cowboys shut the Commanders out last week. You have to go back to 1974 for the last time the club had two shutouts in the same season.

6:46 pm Look for questions to again be raised about the kicking game. K Shaun Suisham had not missed for the Cowboys since his return two weeks ago but he just pulled a 30-yarder left.

6:15 pm With 7:59 in the 3rd, Cowboys CB Terence Newman has returned to the lineup with his knee contusion.

6:10 pm The Cowboys have done an outstanding job of controling the Eagles pass rush. The Eagles had 42 sacks coming into the Dallas game, which was third in the league. So far today, the Eagles have had no sacks.

6:01 pm Cowboys CB Terence Newman has a left knee contusion and could return to the game.

5:59 pm The Cowboys have suffered an early injury blow to their defense. CB Terence Newman suffered a leg injury and has limped off the field. Alan Ball has taken his place at left corner.

5:56 pm Halftime injury report for the Cowboys: RB Tashard Choice has a concussion and will not return. Will be interesting how the Cowboys fill his role as the back on third downs.

5:06 pm The Eagles are playing 7 and 8 in the box on each snap to try and control the Dallas running game. By doing this, there is no safety help in the middle of the field. Look for the Cowboys to try and work the middle of the Eagles defense in the passing game.

4:43 pm Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett is challenging the left side of the Eagles defense with his playing calling. Eagles CB Asante Samuel has a history of playing soft against the run and gambling on passes. The Cowboys have made several plays to Samuel's side.

4:28 pm Teams have tried to take Cowboys TE Jason Witten out of the game a couple of different ways. Witten was covered early by S Quintin Mikell, then on Witten's touchdown catch by CB Asante Samuel, which is a terrible mismatch in size for the Eagles.

4:26 pm The success the Cowboys have had early in the contest running the ball has been due to the point of attack blocking by TE John Phillips. Phillips has lined up at two different spots. FB and in line as the TE.

3:22 pm The inactives for the Dallas Cowboys: 3rd QB Stephen McGee, S Patrick Watkins, CB Cletis Gordon, LB Jason Williams, OG Montrae Holland, C Duke Preston, OT Marc Columbo, LB Curtis Johnson.
