I say he does not make the team. He is way to light in the legs - no push, no power, he seems to get steered into the backfield. If you don't have the muscle to develop it is not getting stronger and legs are the hardest muscle to develop.

Just because you love something does not mean anything - I love hot women but I won't be getting Megan Fox. He may love football, but that does not make him an NFL lineman.

Above is Larry Allen as a rookie - he has legs for driving someone off the line.

That's OK. Just go ahead and compare him to one of the strongest and best offensive lineman IN THE HISTORY OF PRO FOOTBALL. I dare say most rooks won't stack up to well to that test.

Sure but, you've got so little to say in your evaluation that you go with that?
You're fixating on one statement out of a four paragraph evaluation. He said considerably more than just that.

Actually he said very little - most of it is a quote from Houck - what I focused on was about 10% of the entire piece that the author wrote. That's a good chunk to devote to "well, we drafted him so he must be good"-type statements

Most rooks? Most O-linemen in NFL History won't.

My only concern with Brewster is the samething we are hearing about Free. "He's from a small school and needs sometime to develop". That's great, but if he never gets to play, he can't get better. When we are getting blown out against the Rams, Giants, Eagles, we need to sit the starters and get these guys some playing time.

ONLY is you sit Romo and Barber too. They would get killed with the second string OL in there.

Brewster has no problem w/lateral quickness or agility, he's got very good feet for his size, plus long arms. What he lacks is more power at the POA, plus some nastiness. He's tenacious but not particularly nasty.
