Dallas Cowboys Ex Dan Quinn 'Loss Leaves a Scar!'

FRISCO - We live in a conspiratorial time during which we see dark shadows around every corner.

That's the best way we can describe the suggestion from some observers of the Dallas Cowboys that defensive coordinator Dan Quinn was either ill-prepared for the NFL playoffs at the end of last season ... or worse. ..

“Those are games that leave a scar,'' said Quinn of the Cowboys playoff loss to the underdog Green Bay Packers.

Quinn said that as he was being announced as the new head coach of the Washington Commanders ... and it seems that people who don't actually know Quinn simply don't believe him.

Interesting article.
Quinn shoulders plenty of the blame for that. But the Cowboys playoff loss to Green Bay isn't about conspiracies; it's about one team raising its level of play and the other sinking.

And yeah, that leaves a scar for everybody involved with the Cowboys - including guys who've left and including guys who've stayed.
It certainly left a scar on the fans.

"...or worse"... that's nonsense. But he was ill prepared. Not in this game, but his whole defense was set up to fail once being figured out. They were a one trick pony and that bit us in the arse.

Just like the offense they were one dimensional and GB knew how to deal with it. Too bad we also lacked.the individual class and character on certain key positions on both sides of the ball to make up for it.

What's it going to be then, eh?

This is exactly why Mike Fisher is a hack who mails it in now, not that he ever had "it" to begin with.

He had one quote from Quinn in that blurb of an article that had much relevance:

"The team had been excellent about not allowing explosive plays and certainly in that game ... wasn’t.

The article had some promise, but he just left it hanging because he is too frightened to present a stance, mainly because he listened to someone else's video and then wrote that.

I guess that is what you do..at his age...doing what he does for a living.

His defense doomed the season from the get go. He wanted a small and fast defense, which is what he got, and they proceeded to get run over like a sheep stampede in New Zealand which I’ve experienced first hand.

I think most of us have developed callouses to keep us from getting scars.
Na man, that one cut right through my calloused flesh and gouged me. Lol. The callouse is much thicker today, but the wound still hurts from time to time.

We still don't know what the whole reason was for that loss. From the get go on the first drive Dirk and CDee weren't on the same page. Just a strange, strange loss. Almost felt like there was tension between certain players.

It's a form of football intellectual plagiarism.

Quinn was a great coach and losing him is a loss. Good thing we obtained another top defensive mind to replace him.
