I don't view this article in a particularly positive light for the Cowboys or the NFL.

Having said that I know this isn't unique to the Cowboys.

I have a friend who's brother was a cop in Green Bay in the 90s and 2000s and what I gleaned from conversations with the friend (not directly with the brother) is that any matter that involves a Packer player and the law/police short of murder is covered up and never reaches the public.

I think it's safe to say this happens everywhere.
Def in Pittsburgh, they have their own fixer for 30 years

He's prolly fixed things we don't know about or will ever know about.
Some guys can make things disappear for you.

Remember Sam Hurd?

How did nobody know what that guy was doing?

We all thought he was just an extremely hard working guy that would do whatever it took to make the roster.

That is why he is a con man....... he gets to rely on rumors and stories for his reputation.....somebody has to be able to name one thing he has 'fixed'......I guess it is the Dez video

Yup. I wouldn't trust the guy as far as I could throw him. He preys on troubled people and the moron owner who hires them.

Bill Belichick has Ernie Adams, we have this con artist.

Cant answer that dont know what they knew and what they didnt know. Also important when did they know. If they found out to late then theres prob nothing anyone could do to help. Every sotuation is different and depends on who or what entities are involved. Also its hard to keep an eye and or help everyone. You need to protect your top investments but third/fourth string wrs are further down the chain.

About 4 yeard ago Dirk met a girl that was trying to scam him. Tried to date him and pull a long con on him. Within two weeks the FBI investigated crystal taylor and arrested her. Shes gone. FBI doesnt usualy get involved in that kinda stuff. So trust me cuban had someone make this happen. A fixer

But i dont wanna give the wrong impression, im no expert on Fixers lol ive just seen somethings fixed for people.

Or some reallly unspeakable things they may have been involved in, were never made public. But who knows.

Preventing media exposure isn't really doing anything that could be called "fixing" or "solving".

Yep.

Damage Control is pretty common in all sports.

One of the biggest cover ups I saw in my career as a pro phototog was ladies tennis and the easily seen lesbian life many of the players lead.

The commentators were also very gay ,too.

Now I'm not homophobic and as a photographer worked many jobs side by side with gay art directors and such as part of the requirements of my work.

But I never really got comfortable with it and would always make clear I was not interested in a 'bite to eat' after the work was done.

So covering behavior is often par for the course in the real world.

And you didn't dare hit on one of the female tennis players becuz her girlfriend would punch you out..haha.

I don't even know what to do with that.......what have you witnessed......stuff that us squares can't comprehend... I watched 'Ray Donovan' too
Realistically..

You know that justice is not blind, right?

My Dad was in the FBI for 30 years and I knew he worked regularly with paid informants all the time.

And if they didn't cooperate, they would quickly be charged with their criminal errors.

Where do you think these cop shows get their scripts...? From the Screen Writers Guild?

No..from former cops who tell them about real situations and they just tweak it for the big screen.

Sometimes it isn't always pretty and can seem at times to be over the line..

but the bottom line is protecting people, stopping the bad guys and saving lives.

And there are alot of bad guys out there.

I see a few here at the site from time to time.

No surprises there.

Guy is a pimp who milks athletes out of their money in the guise of a "big brother"

Jerry just falls for this con mans bull because Jerry himself is too rich for this clown to target.

I seriously have no idea what you are saying......I understand that cops used to cover for athletes and have connections with shady people......I just don't believe Wells has done anything of value for any Cowboys except take their money......Dez gave this con man power of attorney over his money....just last week Dez finally settled the lawsuits he had against Wells and West...... JJones should be ashamed of himself for unleashing this parasite over his players

It's really gross inside the NFL. Top to bottom.

The Cowboys with Jerry Jones do seem to lead the way.

You have to be careful.

You are just reading an article from a writer who gets paid for his work.

How much of what he says, what he chose to leave in and what he chose to leave out..

in order to make a paycheck...

you will never know.

Making judgements based on what you read without fact checking your thoughts is an illness rampant at this site.

I think Wells performs a service.

How he gets it done isn't important.

Just that he did get it done is what matters.

Dez lived with this guy for how long?

And they have settled the dispute it appears.

And they invited each other to their homes.

Hardly think your beliefs superceed theirs.

Very interesting read, IMO. David the fixer... and Jerry is Gus Fring I guess. :)

Gus Fring would have been a lot less menacing if he were anything like Jerry. He was cool as ice and spoke very calmly and clearly about scary stuff.

Jerry just bumbles over his words and talks about football.
