If you tried to stand them up, yes.

Hit 'em low and they became proportionately vulnerable.

And this is why I still only push the hit stick down. Too many blown tackles going high and you rarely get hurdled.

LOL Alan Ball is a 76, but Lonyae Miller and DeMarco Murray are both under 70. Ball's a scrub, it should be the opposite way around.

Bad example, what has he proven? A practice squad player isn't going to get a good rating. If he makes the roster and has a good pre-season he'll get adjusted. With that said, Ball is overrated.

How Demarcus Ware isn't a 99 is beyond me!

I've played the new Madden demo. It is cool that they added entrance celebrations. (cant wait to see the boyz running out of the helmet and onto the field) It seems a little faster than the old one. I also agree I have no clue why Ware isnt a 99! Its ridiculous....

The other thing I noticed from the demo is they changed tackling around and it seems (Maybe its just me) that RB's hit the hole and if one guy touches you, you fall down lol) All in all I enjoyed it though.

i know in past games, if you switched him to DE he is 99 overall. i dont know if that works anymore though

I used to switch players positions so their rating would plummet, and then re-sign them to a long term deal for the minimum. I'd also trade for players that way. Go switch a WR to LG and he'd drop from the 80's to a 12 overall. Offer a 7th round pick for him, and then switch him back to the correct position.

I make the Eagles salary cap management look pedestrian with this tactic lol.

It's fun for about half a season and by the time the playoffs role around you get so tired of killing the computer even in all-madden mode that I start from scratch.

I really like creating a team and picking "Smashmouth D' or something and having an entire computer generated team also. Feels more challenging.
