You can get it for different phone platforms like Android or IOS.

Good for cowboys fans to get links to videos that might not play right from the official site if you are using a mobile phone or tablet.

Odd thing is that it says something like ran by Yinzcam.

For those that live near Pennsylvania they might have heard some from that state or the Pittsburgh area being referred to as Yinzers.

Because instead of some people in different areas saying you all, you guys, youall...they tend to say you ins...shortened to yinz by some.

I don't know if what you're referring to is the same app, but I had to delete it a few weeks ago. It drains my battery by keeping my phone awake by using the GPS to find my location. There's no way around it, and I don't know why it would need my location at all times, so I had no choice but to get rid of it. It was a very useful app though.

Edit: Just checked your link and it is the same app. Just a warning for those who download it.

I absolutely love the ap. It's invaluable. Especially when I'm riding to and from work I can listen to Cowboys Break and Talkin Cowboys.

I have never had that problem on my Galaxy S3.

Of course I just have to bring up my menu for the overall phone and check and see if my location option is turn on or not. If it is I turn it off.
Currently it is not nor does it stay on.

Simple fix.

not sure if others have that option on other non android phones.

It really is good to listen to those shows and other videos as some will not play if I use my browser to go to the site and try to play videos on my phone and or tablet.

It is also nice for a quick view to see what player is what number...esp in preseason with so many different players coming in.

On my Galaxy S4, I have the same issue with the GPS staying on. You can either do the above recommendation or completely disable the app after each use so its not still on in the background, which is easy to do as well.

Well yes you would disable an app when it is not being used...you should do that with ALL apps when you are done using them in order to save battery life.

For those that might not know...

Once your phone is active (swiped to get to your home screen)....
Hold your home button down a few seconds. This should bring up a list of recent apps.
Either swipe each individual app off the screen or choose the on screen X button to remove them all.

That of course is on the Android OS (4.4.2 on mine, might be different on others as my phone is older).

However the problem is not the App...the problem is the user not knowing how to turn things off and maximize his or her phone battery.

The problem is the app. What you described is closing the app in the background. That DOES NOT stop the app from running. You need to go into the app from settings, clear data, clear cache, and force stop in order to properly stop the app from running.

I know how to maximize my batter use on my Nexus 5, and this app is a huge battery drainer.

Do you have to clear the cache and data? I never do that, but always close but by force stopping certain apps. I can use 10-15% on just a drive to work, 9 miles, 15 minutes, 10-15 % gone, its crazy. But I'm ready for an upgrade so when I get my S5 I'll know.

No, you don't need to, but I like to clear up all the memory the app was hogging up before force stopping it.

But regardless, I would recommend restarting the phone after stopping the app.

Maybe you have to do that on your phone. I don't have to on my phone. I can do what I described and/or use the clean sweep program to close u needed programs in the background.

I used to have problems with a number of apps draining my battery... Not so much anymore. Well candy crush seems to drain. It faster but I probably play that game more than other apps on my phone.
