I get confused with this new term "savage". These kids use it as a verb. You savaged him ect.
Going ham confused me as well. Going ham..huh. Ham is also a noun, it's pork.
Throwing shade....huh you can't throw shade...shade is what you search for if its really sunny and hot.
I use the word "savage" from time to time

Really started picking up steam in the gaming world. My son has me saying it now :)

Especially the word "hater". To me, the word "hate" has a very specific meaning and highly negative connotation. While the terms "hater" or "hating on" are terms that may have been used originally in an innocuous way, lately I've seen them used by people in an attempt to intimidate or diminish someone who merely disagrees with their point of view.
That's when it becomes annoying, definitely.

Otherwise, I have no issue with it since it's so pervasive in American lingo these days. I'm not gonna waste energy "hating" (in the innocuous sense :)) on the current vernacular of the youngsters. :)

Lewis is one of the guys I mentioned liking due to his swagger prior to the draft.

With that said.

This group in the secondary better have some swag ...because I think it is fair to say they are going to get tested a good deal.

Besides Jaylon and Rico, I'm most excited about watching the DB group develop. They are smart, confident, and physical. They're edgy.

Witten really seems well-acclimated to the youth movement. No doubt he misses some of the "old guys", but there is a completely different feel now that Dak&Zeke are leading the pack.

Call me a homer if you want, but good things are on the horizon!
Call me a homer too.

These guys have tasted success & they want more.

It was a good gamble.
Doubt they would have let all four DBs leave prior to the draft, in a lesser year for DBs, if this draft wasn't so loaded.
That's a rare asset when you can see this teams evaluations start to make really good sense, so much trust and understanding within this scouting dept,
that if this young group can be as good as last years defense is conservative, not that I don't think this years defense wont be better, I'm just using "as good as"
in reference to the "good gamble."
Some nice DBs added and all have upside, some probably more than others, time will tale, but the upside with getting younger, faster, playing within Marineliis system.
This defense had a glaring weakness, besides pass rush, and that was getting gashed in the slot, that area was turning into a playground for the OBJs of the league, when there was a time Receivers feared going over the middle against a Dallas D, but its been a minute.
Got a nice DE, added to the DL, and rebuilt a secondary in another fell swoop,, if we keep stacking drafts like we have been, we might have start trading pics into future holdings.

Ham is actually an acronym Hard As a M....you can figure the rest for yourself I'm sure. I use Ham and Savage and I blame my 15 year old. Throwing shade evolved from calling someone shady, but I don't use that one.

Man I hope we win one for Witten before he calls it quits.

You can tell how much it hurt him when we lost last season.

Dallas Cowboys News: Jason Witten impressed With "Swag" Of Cowboys Rookie Class

VIDEO: Witten Impressed with 'Swag' of Cowboys Younger Players | NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Cowboys tight end Jason Witten talks about the passion involved in playing the game of football and the "swag" of the younger players on the team.

It seems that these young players coming in have that swagger about them that says, "Hey, I want to be great, I want to be a part of something." I think that's our approach this offseason. We can't be complacent with what we've done, we've got to grow on that and be better. I think we've done that so far.

Good thoughts, Golden...and there are two defensive ends, when Tapper is put on the table this off season.
