Dallas Cowboys' plan is to keep Cooper Beebe at center

I’m telling you I think the OL is only going to get better . I expect Guyton to make a jump and Hoffman is a scouting dept feather in the cap . Beebe was a steal as a third and Tyler Smith I hope is a long term Cowboy . Now get the RB in the draft to go with this group .

Hopefully Beebe's former oline coach Riley can not only figure out Beebe's best position, but the other 4 as well.
Solari was pitiful.
Solari well respected OL coach.

Problem was Big Mike and his jacked up offense.

Can't believe how easy it is to fix the line for the next several years yet stubbornly they fall back on position flex . Just start cooper Bebee at LG, Hoffman at center, kick Smith to LT, make Steele the swing, Guyton the RT. Bass can fight it out in camp for rg with Thomas ,Richards etc. it's not complicated. Got a hunch the new line coach will agree

There are a number of needs on the Dallas Cowboys roster at the moment. We can sit here and fairly note that wide receiver, cornerback, pass rusher or anywhere along the offensive line are positions that could/should be addressed near the top of the NFL Draft. That feels fair.

I think that's a good idea. center is very important and the kid grew over the year. its easier to find guards than good centers.

That would screw up the OL we're building.

I wouldn't just gloss over the "right now" comment. It sounds like the goal is to keep Beebe at Center, but there is a contingency to that. Is it possible that it depends on Brock Hoffman earning the RG spot? Could they have a guy in the draft they like and would be targeting? Maybe if they have issues at Tackle Tyler Smith being bumped out still isnt completely rules out?

I may be reading too much into this, but it doesnt sound like anything is set in stone yet.

Sorry, but your hunch is wrong.

You are calling the Cowboys stubborn for position flex, yet that is exactly what your doing.

To me, it's guard. He should be left at guard. Seems like they are forcing him to be a center.

That’s a lot of moving players around….

Don’t think they will do that.

No.

Why do you think he is much better and dominant at guard?

This ought to be good. Before you answer, remember I saw every game he played at K-St.
So did I. I got a lot of their games. He was a good guard, nasty. That's what I saw. It's not scientific. That ok there professor?

Whether it's evaluating Beebe at center or guard or any other position on the team being graded...
Some CZers still "try" to do the whole condescending armchair GM thing as if their opinion is any more qualified than the next amateur talent evaluator here.
I just kinda have learned to let em think what they think and try not to rub in too many I told you so's later on down the line.

That kinda approach keeps it civil and all.
