Dallas Cowboys Uniforms this week... what color???

Every time we go on the road teams usually make us wear blue. They look snazzy but we've had such horrible luck in them. The games the past two years in Washington were in blue, the game in Philly last year in which Bledslow threw the game away was in blue, etc. We did win in Carolina last year with them but I can't think of any other recent win in the blue jerseys.

Actually, most of the time we are on the road we wear white. This is because it is the choice of the home team to choose the color jersey they want to wear... if the home team picks the light color, then the away team automatically wears the dark color jersey; of course, it works vice-versa.

Most NFL teams home jerseys are dark. The Cowboys home color is white. So when we are on the road against teams like Seattle, NY Giants, Chicago, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, etc, we will be wearing our White uni's. The few teams that make us wear our blue are the Commanders, eaGALS, Cardinals, Panthers, and a couple of others... I wasn't sure if the Dolphins are one of those teams, but I think that they are. The Fins colors are aqua for their "darks" and white as their "lights". So if Miami picks white/light, then we will be in our navy/dark.

We ALWAYS wear blue at Philly and at Washington. In fact the reason the record in blue is lousy is because it is always worn on the road (except Thanksgiving). Add that to the fact that the Cowboys have had some down years and that explains the perceived jinx. IMO, the Boyz look great in the road blue.

By the way, are we wearing the THROWBACKS at all this year?

We don't always wear the Blue against Philly. We have only worn the blue against themfrom1997-present in 1999,2001, 2006. Three times in the past 11 seasons. Quite rare

In that Jax game last year when we wore blue, didn't we spot them to an early 10-0 lead?

Pt being that these uniforms aren't exactly "cursed"-Parcells just decided to sit on the lead instead of going for the KO punch.

In recent years, more outdoor home teams would have the visitor wear their dark uniforms in Sept, FWIW. I never saw this 20 years ago.

Probably the only reason we were made to wear blue last time we went to Miami was because it was a JJ coached team. Seems like people/teams who tend to have something personal against us make us wear blue.
