If you don't think Jerry and company are trying to put together a winning team you're out of your mind. Jerry loves the glitz and glamour but all of that would be amplified times 10 if we were able to consistently make it to the conference finals or even the super bowl. He knows that. He's experienced that. You better believe he wants to get back in that position.

If only we there were no salary cap we could outspend everyone and have 20 SB trophies!!
anyone else sick of hearing about how much the cowboys are worth as if it means anything to fans or actual football?
I seemingly can not turn on my local news without one of the sports reporters mentioning how much the stadium or that dreadfully named "star" complex costs.
Who cares? This family loves to tell everyone how much it spends on everything. I don't get it.
Apparently you must of missed all the news about suspensions, no future, terrible draft, and what not recently....
Apparently you missed the fact that being the world's most valuable franchise doesn't really benefit the fans and certainly doesn't translate into wins, something that would actually be good news.
Is this what it's become for us? We have to take silly things like the value of the franchise as our "good news"?
The Cowboys have a business model now that doesn't include signing big name FA's. That isn't something new it's been going on for a while now. We will never know how successful we would have been last year but clearly things looked pretty good in 2014.Instead they act like a small market team, pinching pennies, using coupons and only signing value guys
Josh Norman was available for nothing but money and we didn't make a phone call
I would rather the Cowboys be the 32 most valuable franchise in the NFL and compete for Super Bowls every year. Jerrys wealth doesn't mean squat to me.

It's been over 20 years...and everything but the results and the chair he sits in has changed.
