When Jerry Jones built AT&T Stadium, he knew the venue would be able to handle just about anything thrown at it. So far so good as the Dallas Cowboys home has hosted a handful of important events with even more to come, possibly even the NFL Draft.
With the NFL’s lease expiring with Radio City Music Hall after the 2014 NFL Draft (it morphs into a one-year option afterwards), there have been whispers suggesting that the NFL may move the draft out of New York City and allow cities around the country to bid on the event.
One such place to be in possible contention would be AT&T Stadium and Cowboys VP Stephen Jones says he is open to the idea.
“As you can imagine, we like the idea,” Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said Friday on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]. “Anything that we can do at AT&T Stadium for our fans, give them a more up close and personal look at, I think would be a plus.”
Jones went on to suggest that he feels the league’s interest in moving the draft is serious and that they’ve explored the idea of having different days of the draft in different cities.

-Could you imagine the PR for this thing? Jerry's probably salivating at the idea. Have to admit, would be pretty awesome to host.
