We have come thru so far with an absolute focus on defense drafting all 5 selections to shore up one of our worst defenses in club history.

5 of the 1st 100 players selected will need to make an impact. Let’s hope we had an eye for talent.

We can’t stop the run, Dallas lost 10 of the 14 games when they gave up over 100+ rushing yards.

AKA Another losing season if run defense don’t get fixed.

That’s yet to be seen. All we can do is attempt to shore up the defense with infusing more talent . That’s what we attempted to do so far.

It’s a little early to measure what impact it will make . But at least the intentions and focus are good.

Like you said they have drafted defense with every pick so far. Creating competition at every level on the defense. But they haven't drafted the guys CZ scouts wanted apparently. It will be interesting camp battle to see who outperforms, these guys or guys like robinson and sense who couldn't make the field last year.

It’s too early to say yet. All you can do is try and select the best players for our needs. And that’s what we’ve at least attempted to do.

But I’d bet it has to be improved from last year.

I don't know why the 'fans' are getting blasted for seeing the obvious... just like we had concerns with LVE and his neck injuries and that played out exactly as we thought. How about the disappointment with Taco? Same story there. How about Trystan Hill, who Marinelli had to get to sign a work ethic contract?

If the FO had some history of finding gems in the draft, then sure, give them the benefit of the doubt... but we took guys that were projected for WAY later. We could still have had a lot of those same guys but taken other guys in front of them. Quinn better be some sort of miracle worker, because we did NOT get better this year on defense between FA and the draft. We improved maybe at the CB position if our guy can stay on the field. I think Parsons will be awesome, but he can only do so much this year.

The issue is we still are failing to address the SAME issues. Yet again we fail to address the safety position and we again draft an undersized dt.

First of all we have Gregory returning. We will have our best edge rushers back since 2019 when Lawrence and Gregory provided our best pass rush in years and our defense was average which says quite a bit in an era when we have mostly been lower tier.

And Gallimore provided us some hope in the middle . And Trysten has to make a bigger push this year.

Our LB’s need to stay healthy and make a similar impact as a couple years ago. And we are attempting in this draft to shore both of those positions up with depth while shoring our secondary.

If this defense can emerge to average from worst then we should be a much improved team assuming our offense is still top 5.
