If the kid is Kelce level then I'm all in. That position is pretty critical for Prescott to succeed in this league and Witten is on his last legs.

I don't really see it with this dude - I like the body control and hands, but don't see a lot of seperatiom against weak competition.

Give me Ian Thomas.

I wouldn't be upset if this was our pick.

He looks a lot like Travis Kelce to me and our offense desperately needs a player like this.

I also like that he can line up like a traditional TE with his hand in the dirt and block a guy.

A real vertical threat at the TE position.

Love this guy. He actually looks like he can block. His technique is really well done. Gavin Escobar would just stand up and let himself her pushed around. It was almost like a pf boxing someone out in basketball the way Gavin did it.

I dont think Goedert makes it past N.E at 31 especially with Gronk talking retirement

I like him. Just not as a 1st and not while Witten is playing 100% of snaps.

Agreed - I also don't think he or any TE in this draft has 1st round talent. I'm not even sure there's a player worth a top 50 selection.

Goedert or Andrews from Oklahoma. Both complete players. I lean towards Andrews in round 2. He is a faster version of Witten but can block better.

That’s the problem.. The blocking part.

Goedert is a traditional Y.

I would love for a young TE like Gordert to get to play with Witten before he takes the job over.

We should take advantage of that instead of getting a rookie the year Witten leaves.

Btw, Rico has been nothing but a stud in the preseason but our coaches have been complete progress stoppers.

Aside from running fast in a straight line, there is literally nothing these guys can do better than our HOF TE.

Our HOF TE is REALLY slow these days. Or haven't you notice? Love Witt...but its high time we have another TE ready to take the baton. We cannot rely on him forever. Last year was an indication of that fact.Dunno bout you,but I do not trust Gathers to be that guy yet,if ever.Swaim is hurt all the time, and Hanna is starting to get long in the tooth. TIME to recognize when its time to move on.

I think we should draft a replacement...........and let him learn from Witten for at least a season. I'm against just cutting bait b/c he's costing us half what he did last year and he's still a productive player. Speed hasn't been his game in a long time.

A concussion was also a progress stopper.
