We surely have the D to get there and I think the O will pick it up in the second half of the season.

I've been wondering if the conserative Play calling was to try and limit injuries on Offense in the first half of the season.

It's not just the conservative playcalling. It's the lack of execution on O. We're not getting it done up front, and not protecting the QB enough. 4 sacks by the Giants and 5 by the C-hoks.

That's bad news.

We're not a Super Bowl team. Our D is playing lights out, but unless our O can guarantee 14 points a game ...

Can't blame all those sacks on the big boys up front. I know at least 2 were definitely coverage sacks.

What team in the NFC is better than the Cowboys?

I see a bunch of teams that are about equal with the Cowboys, but of all those teams we have the most rookies and free agents playing, so we have the potential to have the most improvement as the season progresses.

Just look at the QB situation: We have a 1st year FA playing QB, who is just getting familar with the offense around him.

This is also the time of year when there is more game film available and teams have caught on to what we are trying to do with our offense and also discovered some weaknesses.

Its on the coaches to get the O back on track, and yes the players have not been executing so well either and that needs to improve. I'm betting teams are going to really focus on T Glen so bledsoe better not rely too heavily on him. I know he does ok spreading the ball around, but i think teams are going to take glen away and see if we can beat them with the other weapons we have. So its time to run more pass plays involving witten and price.
