Saw this tonight watching football night in America

That says so much

How important MBIII is to balance for Romo
How important he is for energy and fire for the o-line, the offense and the entire team

A lot falls on Garrett this season. He's got to stick with the run game even when it starts slow.

BTW, Barber had 14 carries today.

Sorry, this stat means nothing. The reason we are 27-4 when Barber has 11+ touches is because it's in garbage time that we let him pound the rock when our TEAM as a unit has already won the game.

I'm not saying Barber isn't an amazing back, I'm just saying that the stat is misleading.

Already been covered, but he gets more carries because we're winning.

So true. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. Usually when the RB is getting a lot of carries it's either because your passing game stinks or you are leading with time running out.

Having said that, a lot of Barber's touches come with the game still on the line so you can't say they are mostly garbage time carries.

You're right. I shouldn't say garbage time. Barber is one of the best RB's at killing the clock that I've ever seen. I more meant the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter.
