Thats going to go into the playoffs and nobody is going to want to see. Mark those words.
Today Garrett reminded me why he's a bad HC right now. And thats because he takes the game out of Romos hand. Dallas clearly had NO gassed and were finished on defense. Instead of continuing with the Hurry up and attacking passing attack that Dallas had just scored 2 TDs in 3 mins. He chose to be methodical. Wrong time. This team is best when Romo is in command.
I had a ugly feeling about this game because I kept remembering about NOs love for dink and dunking after spreading the field and sending their routes deep. I hate this type of football. NFL has made the Colts and Saints style of football a championship style. And i despise Goodell for that.
Alot of factors played a part in todays loss. The most is the injury factor Dallas is going through. Alot of you can moan and groan about Ryan, but the guy is playing with what he has left. Now you can bet Ware is going to be more limited. And yet at the end of the game the DEF still came up with a stop they needed.
But you cant blame the def for all of this either. The offense couldnt make a first down to save its life for all except 4 drives in this game. Dallas 4 scoring drives came in 8 1/2 mins todal. The rest of the game dallas ran 37 plays in the other 8 possessions. They killed their defense. Especially with the defense already playing all these fill ins.
Now its all about "the Cowboys cant beat Washington" Washington isnt the Saints. They dont have the people to expose the middle the way the Saints did. Thats not their style anyways. Against a smash mouth team in a game with the way this team has been playing ill ride with the cowboys all day.
Dez is a absolute beast and shame on you who doubted him when he has some maturity issues. And said he'll never get it. The guy has flipped the bird at all of you. Austin had some miscues but he came up big when they needed him. Typical austin when you need him he's there.
I see no give up in this team, too bad i cant say the same for its fan base. They let one slip through their grasp today but i think it motivates then and they knocked it out next week. Playoffs here comes Dallas.
