This is a tough one for me.....I am not sure if we keep both Spears and Coleman, one or neither. IMO, both make it at least one more season. Coleman is having a very good preseason. Spears is stout against the run.

I keep Spears, because he's 29 and Coleman is 33.

Personally I'd take Ratliff, Hatcher, Lissemore, Crawford, Brent, Bass and Spears.

I'm still waiting to see Geathers start of become a bit more disruptive out there. Maybe he just can't translate that athleticism and strength onto the football field. It is tough to give up on him because if the light goes on you're looking at Calais Campbell. Geathers is very raw and needs to play a lot of reps - he needs to learn how to use his length to his advantage better.

I'd say the pecking order for those last two spots right now would be:

1.) Brent
2.) Spears
3.) Geathers
4.) Bass

take out coleman and put in brent and that's about right.

The top 4 are definite and Brent has a very strong chance IMO. I think the last 2 spots are still up in the air. If a couple of other guys play really well over the last 2 preseason games, they could easily take those spots. I put Geathers on the list but it could also have been Bass.

Geathers - At first glance, does not appear to make plays; however, in reviewing the games, he is almost always double-teamed.
Bass - In reality, he will probably be on the Practice Squad.
Brent - Veteran backup NT. Should get a lot of snaps due to Ratliff's health limitations.

Dallas will probably have to release a decent player here.

They could have kept one more, if they would have Drafted Ben Grubbs instead of Crawford.

Crawford may be great, but Grubbs would have served more of a need.
