Dallas Leads The League In Point Differential

converting 3rd downs.....was shocked when I heard that stat the other night where we're successful somewhere in the area of 75%

~Bill Belichick sees this and begins brainstorming~

Secret video..? Nah. Done that.

Deflation..? Ditto.

Manipulating pre-snap offensive formation rules...? Old news.

What can I do???

I got it!!!

Tends to happen when you win. Win = point differential goes up. Lose = point differential goes down. Having the fewest instances of the differential going down helps quite a lot.

Pretty sure it was 54% against Pittsburgh, bu that's still very good.

But Dak/Zeke are rookies and about to face the '84 Bears D this Sunday. Our d is pathetic (say Ravens fans), and Flacoo should have 400+ yds and finish with 6 tds.

We are scoring more TD's and not kicking so many FG's thank goodness.
Zeke's long runs instead of getting tackled at the 20 or 10 yard line.
As big as holes are--he was untouched on all three TDs last week--he still has to finish it. So many times in the past our RBs were caught or just ran out of gas. lol.

Don't get mathematical around here. It might short-circuit half the board. LOL

And that's the difference between Zeke and Murray, and especially those clowns last year.

Zeke is the Tecmo Bowl version of Bo Jackson.

#1 point differential . . . proof positive that this offense is something very special but we already knew that, right? ;)

If you follow sports, point differential is one of the most meaningless stats as it correlates to winning championships. True for all sports. It's hit and miss.

With that said, it's nice to be on top of any category, including this one. Just shows how strong our regular season has been thus far.

If this is a bit pessimistic, apologies. Like I said, it's nice to be on top. Just don't read too much into it. Obviously, you don't want to be in the negative, but being number one isn't an indicator of postseason success.

Still, a nice tidbit, OP.

More importantly, or at least as equally as important, is our defense bending and not breaking (sans the PIT game). We are forcing a lot of FG's.

The Oakland Athletics usually lead the league in this stat, or are around the top, and what have they done with it?
