Time for this again.

I want to see if the starting offense can look as crsip as it did against the Ravens, and this time on the road.
I would like to see Williams get reps before Randle this time.
I would like to see the WR's competing for a possible 6th spot, get more action.

ST's need to show an improvement, a big improvement.

Still more consistency from the defense and the pass rush. looked much better against the Ravens, than the chargers. But need to see more. Also more consistency in stopping the run.
We still won't see Melton or claiborne, and not sure if that is good or bad or neither.
I want to see McClain really take hold of the MLB position, play a bit more consistent and in football shape.
I would like to see T. McClain at DT, but doubt he plays either.
I want to see JJ Wilcox and his progression too.

I want to see them win. LOL
A friend of mine text me a stat on preseason games. Teams that go 0-4, 50% do not have a winning season, and 85% do not make the playoffs. Not sure where he got it from though.
however, the 1984 Commanders went 0-4, then went to play in the SB, but lost.

I'm boring in preseason. No significant injuries, then I like to see the bottom of our 53 play well.

In this case, Minter should be fun to watch. Patmon, too. And the RB3 competition.

Just to get through it w/o losing anymore players. ST is a concern but I realize most of those guys are just pieced together, so not overly concerned there. If we had the full defense out there, then I would want to see them gel together more, but alas, some will be missing again.

When the Lions went 4-0 in the preseason they finished that year 0-16.

At this point all I am looking for in any Cowboys game is a defensive prowess. The offensive execution is now just expected.

I will be watching:

To see how Carr is coming along, have not seen much of him.
Like to see if Flounder can keep it up playing against the 1's.
Like to see Coleman progressing, would also be nice to see Wilson take a step.
If Claiborne plays, like to see him battle.
Sure would like to see Rolando look like he is in Fball shape.
I guess Escobar is another if he plays.
A nice half from Wilcox would be nice also.

So..50% of the teams that go 0-4 in preseason go on to have winning seasons? But 70% of those winning seasons don't qualify for playoffs? That seems a dubious statistic if my math is right.

Yes I thought something was off about it also. So I basically did what I do with any preseason results...ignored the stat....LOL

I think Cowboys 1st year under Jimmy went 4-0, then the 1-15 season, the next year they may have went 0-4 or 1-3, or 1-4, they may have had 5 games there somewhere.
But Jimmy's 1st year, they tried to win, he wanted to set a winnig attitude. But reality set in for the regular season. LOL
After that he said he learned that the record did not matter, so didn't care about it.

I know they normally play the starter more in this game, but I would like to see a few of the young guys play against Miami's starters. I would like to see Bishop and Minter against starters unless T. McClain and Melton return. We already know what Hayden can or can't do.

The Slot CB is a big question with Scandrick scheduled to miss the first 4 games. I need to see more of the guy they acquired in the Ben Bass trade and Sterling Moore needs to get back to action at some point.

A starting lineup of Durant, McClain and Wilber would be interesting.

A consistent running game and 2 good scoring drives (FG or TD) for the starting offense. I'd like to see the defensive line and backers improve on running plays through the middle and look to see if the d-line can win some battles at the line of scrimmage.

Looking for more improvement by the defense with McClain starting at MLB. I felt defense showed improvement from week 1 to week 2 and would like to see them continue to develop and improve as a group.

I'm looking to see Rolando McClain perform like the 2nd coming of Dick Butkus -- well, OK, so I'm HOPING for it! -- lol.
