Dallas must ANAHILATE the Texans

The Texans have the league's WORST defense. They give up 24 ponts a game and are last in just about every defensive category. Even on offense they are pretty putrid, and besides one good WR, they have no other real passing threat. Their QB is still green and their OL gives up an average of 4 sacks a game this season. Therefore Dallas should not just win this game, Dallas must ANAHILATE the Texans!

Winning this game is almost inevitable for the Cowboys, but they need to do more than just win; they need to completely dominate the Texans because that's what really good teams do to bad teams. The Texans are a bad team and Dallas still needs to prove it is a really good team. In fact if they don't anahilate the Texans, and merely squeek out an unimpressive win, then you can consider this game a major loss for Dallas.

...If Ware does not get at least 2 sacks in this game, then we can officially call him a BUST, and curse the day we passed up on Merriman. Ad I have not been a Merriman apologist up to this point. In fact, I've supported the "Ware ove Merriman" drafting, but Ware's questionable play this season has me becoming skeptical of his ability.

Ware needs to become the leader on this DLine and he can only do that by being Charles-Haley-esque. If he can't get that going against a Texans team that gives up more sacks than a cheap hooker then he never will.

He tied Ellis for most sacks on the team last season btw. This is his second year of playing a new position. We will kill the Texans and Ware is not a Bust.

We drafted Ware to be a "special" DE for us; not just some 'better-than-average, but not great" DE. The fact that he's playing a new positio was last year's pardon; to say that this year is like copping-out with an excuse.

I was hopeful in the Eagles' game where Ware had a great first half. But the Eagles just shut him down in the second half. I know the secondary had busted plays to gie up those TDs, but better pressure from Ware may have caused for Philly to not even get those throws off. The fact he was a non-facotr in the second haf of a big game where the Boys lost it is concerning. Now, the Texans game is not as big a game, but still important.

And yes, all we really need for the standings is a "W". But I think this teem needs to prove it's better than just a "W' and tuey can do it by dominating the Texans. And for Ware, he needs to have a few games strung together to prove he is capable of beig "special". Him having a huge game against a bad Texans team, that gives up sacks by the bunches, is a must for Ware. Also, following that up with a huge game next week (Giants, Monday night) would move him on the way to being "spedial" also. He's not nearly there yet.

They will be pumped like no other game they have played since the first game they played as a team.

This is like a college football game between two instate rivalries.

One can be clearly better but the lesser team will be so pumped they will make a game of it.

We don't need massive stats from this player or that player. We do not need to completely abuse the texans. We do not need to set single game records as a team or as players.

We just need to get a win.

Now anything beyond a win is a bonus.

Dallas is already a good team ...the Texans are not the NFL barometer. Again, even if you lose against the Texans (they've traditionally played you guys well before), you're still a good team. Bad teams beat good teams in the NFL every week.
