Dallas needs a new strength coach?

I know this topic has been brought up before zoners, but I don't think it's a coincidence we always seem to run out of gas this time of the year. Wasn't Joe Juraszek hired in 96'; the last year we won a playoff game? Is there something wrong with his program that is causing the players to fade come December time? The OL just looked gased yesterday. Thoughts?

Marcellus Wiley brought up that point during the offseason. I don't know if it's valid, but those guys get paid to analyze from every direction. The strength coach has nothing to do with Newman giving up a crucial 3rd and 12 pass or Folk missing FG's

Mike Wioschek (SP?) was the best, I think he's in NE now.

I have heard many different players and coaches praise the guy. I also know that he has catered the S&C program to what the HC wants (remember Bill Talking about wanting things done differently).

But it is hard to ignore that he is the only coach that has been here all along.

I bring up Jerry as being the constant through the years on this team but the S&C is also there as well.

Jerry began donating to the Salvation Army in 1997.

Maybe the charity is to blame?

What about Rowdy? He arrived in 1997 too. He could be the curse.

Jerry did sell his soul to win that last bowl in 95', and now the franchise is cursed. Maybe it's that.

I did not know that Rowdy or the Salvation army was a coach or contributed to who was drafted or brought in as FA (Speaking of Jerry as far as the drafting and FA of course).

We could be flippant and absolutely brush it off, that is anyones choice to do so, but I think it might be a tad silly not to at least consider the constants of this teams lack of playoff victories over the years.

Sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes you should learn from history or be doomed to repeat it.

Just something to consider.

Oh no...I am not sniff your jock on this one, what will the others think.:D ;)

Jerry himself has said he asked God for that Super Bowl and would not ask for anything else. Maybe God just answered his stupid prayer.

It has to be the Salvation Army. The dad gummed United Way got sent packing. So they delivered blankets and mosquito netting to under privileged countries and bought voodoo dolls with stars on the sides of the heads.

They did this in the month of December and that is why it is such an awful curse. It also explains Jerry's looks. That isn't a face lift, it's a voodoo pin stuck in the dome of his doll.

How was Jerry at at fault for what happened yesterday? Please don't tell me that he should have hired Norv over Phillips either. Norv has done a good job in San Diego but there is not one person on these boards that wanted us to hire him so please don't say you did. Jerry went out and hired the best person around to try to fix a broken 3-4 defense. The offense is one of the better one's in the league so to lay all the blame at Garrett is crazy also. Sometime the players need to take some blame. Not one of those three were playing on the o line yesterday when we needed a foot. Not one of those three missed a field goal either. Sure you can say they are responsible for not cutting Folk before yesterday but my gosh he has been money for us for the last 2 years. In no way am I saying that these guys don't deserve any blame but for God sake the players play the game and they were in position to make plays yesterday and the week before to win the game and couldn't do it. The coach's job is to put them in position to do this and I think they have done it for the most part.

Maybe Jerry needs to call in some paranormal investigators to examine Valley Ranch?

It is always Jerry man. Better to accept it and move on. Defending the man will only bring you bad karma. GMs have gone from the men behind the scenes to the difference between Championships and failure.

I know it and I try to avoid it but I just can't. Sooner or later I will figure it out I guess. Who knows.
