For real.
I love that guy.

Did you guys see him last night for the Pat? He was envigorating as always.
That lil bastid is always coming in in some "against all odds" situation and marches his team downfield and scores... everytime!

He's exciting and humorous to watch.

Bring him to Dallas!

He is only good for a game or two, at most. You do know that he is older then Vinny?

That's what makes him so exciting.

That and the fact that he is about a foot shorter, too.
He looks like a kid scramblking around out there. He has to jump just so his passes will clear the O-Line...
He kills me.

'Ol Dougle has always been an interesting player ... but I wonder if we made the right decision in Bledsoe over Warner.

Why? Did Doug get cut post-game?

He won't be...but he sure is, well, Doug.

Davey is the one who's gonna get cut. He STINKS.

A Pats fan told me this morning why Mumbles signed the Cassel kid at the end of the 7th, keeping in mind NE had a boatload of picks.

Pete Carroll called Bill B and told him that Cassel could play. That he hadn't at Cal, as he had Palmer and Leniert in front of him, but that he had the talent to start at most big program colleges in the nation.

Mumbles didn't have film on him, but used the pick off that phone call.

Watch... the &$##@! draft Brady II, only in the seventh, not sixth.

I think Flutie is retiring if he gets cut. They mentioned during the game yesterday that coming into the year, he would only play for New England, or in the CFL with his brother.

WHY would Doug get cut?

A Super Bowl team is going into the season with that lumbering oaf Rohan and Mr. Irrelevant? (even if he could be the next Tom Brady)

Funny tho. Flutie is so incredibly, insanely beloved up here, the second that two play TD drive (purty pass, Lil Dougie) went up last nite, it started....

...can Doug Flutie bring something to the table that Tom Brady cannot? :)

I kid you not.

For many New England sports fans, even those 3 rings don't equal a Hail Mary 20 years and 9 months ago.

No.......if Bledsoe goes down or is replaced for bad play then now is the time too stand pat and see what we have in Henson & Romo.

Warner has about as much mobility as Bledsoe, except he isn't as durable. He would get killed behind our line.

I don't bet on football much anymore, but last night I made a pretty substantial bet that the freaking Cardinals, of all god-forsaken teams, will win at least nine games.

A good share of that confidence is based on Warner.

I would not make the same bet on Bledsoe. On ANY team.

I don't think we should go out and try to get Flutie. But I tell you what, I've always been enamored with the guy. He just always made things happen and IIRC had a pretty good winning percentage.

43 in October..I was two years behind him at BC.

And as long as he keeps playing, I feel young. :D

Flutie makes that team. Rohan Davey will be looking for work. But I'd rather have either Romo or Henson over Davey.

WHY...I think you have something against older men. ;) :p:

On a serious note I agree with you CBZ.

However I will admit that it was and is fun to watch Flutie play.

You can see the love for the game and his spirit every time he plays.

:lmao2: Not at all. Maturity is a wondrful thing. I always enjoyed watching Flutie as well.........but it's time to bite the bullet and get serious about our suspect QB position. Plan A...Bledsoe.....Plan B.....Henson or Romo.....Plan C..backup 10 yards and punt.

Seemed to me he looked pretty good out there, too. Better than our QB's ...

I can't believe anyone would advocate us picking up the Mullet.

OH ... MY ... G-O-S-H!!!

There is NOTHING wrong with having a mullet.

Many athletes and fans (especially Eagles fans) have them ...

Warner looked good against us last week but we had a passive game plan, come regular season, that guy will be blitzed all day long.

Bledsoe is better then Warner...though I'm unsure about how much better...
