Dallas offense has to be better this week

Kellen needs to have an almost perfect game plan to beat the eagles. If we are forced into situations where Rush needs to drop back and beat the eagles in obvious passing situations it’s going to be a rough night…run affectively and call efficient and effective passes early.

I think the drop-off is a combination of things over the past 4 weeks
  • played some stronger teams ( Bengals and Rams )
  • More conservative game ( not unusual with a backup QB)
  • As McVay said last week, teams have enough reels on Cooper

I believe we’re going to need more than 20 points from the offense to win this game. Parsons has a groin injury and that could limit his effectiveness. There could be a point where he goes off limping and never returns and that will certainly take a bite out of our pass rush. We can’t keep putting it on our defense to win games every week.

Cooper needs a running threat to be effective. This is why the first set of downs against the Rams was mind-boggling. Zeke runs for five on first down, which is exactly what you want—keep within the appropriate down and distance so you can stay in your base offense. But, instead of staying in their base offense, they emptied out the backfield on second and five.

I don’t get it.

If it's a 2-0 win by Dallas on a lone safety there will be some that love the victory.

Others not so much.

And the stats with losses fans vs. ugly wins fans will continue.

The offense needs to execute well every week with few to zero turnovers. If they do and the game plan is correct for the opponent good things can happen. This is also predicated on how the defense plays. Both offense and defense go hand and hand.

Someone else here said it a while back but I'll mention it again.

Peyton Manning stat line in the SB against Panthers was 13/23 for 141 yds and a pick. Sacked 5 times. QBR - 8.6. RTG - 56.6.

Yep, I am implying Rush could ride the coat tails of his dominant dee to a trophy to at least be able to match that kinda stat line.

I don't trust the other guy not to force the issue and **** it all up by trying to do too much.

If it's a 2-0 win then we're still 5-1 and I couldn't care less about the scoreboard. Best offense got us nowhere last year.

total agreement....it will not fly....quick decisve throws will keep Cooper upright and hopefully move ball down field.....but the offense has to score minimum of 20 and defense scores a TD or puts

our kicker in range.....but like last week offense only scored i think 13 that wont work this week....even if our defense balls out....we do not do well against super mobile QB's.....Bengals had mobile

QB but he was not a small target faking people out of their jocks

Streif----i would love a 2-0 victory.....being guaranteed a victory i would love that is why i laid down a Heka (10) Platinum guarantee winner....we will need some fortune on our side but we can win

besides me hates the Sheagles so much....tear off their dresses and panties and spank em hard

The Rams and Bengals haven’t been that strong this year. The offensive drop off is due to the receiving corp not being as good along with Dalton Schultz not being a factor in the passing game and playing with a backup QB. We’re having a play conservative with Cooper Rush to avoid mistakes.

Lol thank you. You know I actually was offered but I turned it down. I was going thru some health stuff at the time. I’m totally fine now and fully recovered. But still trying to lay low. (Add unneeded stress.) thank you though.
I'm glad you are doing better. You are one of my favorite posters.
