.... ..This is the thought that Jerry is probably buying. Somehow he doesn't see the panic, most are seeing.

I see the logic in this. Dallas is one win away, with Washington loss. That puts Dallas back in the saddle.

But the losses have been historically bad. That just doesn't happen to good teams, or real contenders.

Deep in the core of this team (coaching). Something is amiss. Sooner or later, Jerry will have to acknowledge it.
Yes, Jethro is still in it to hang out at the rim.

Even if it only takes 9 wins to take the NFC East that’s going to be a real challenge for the Cowboys. If we lose to San Francisco we’re probably looking at only 6-7 wins at best.

The team is about to go on a 5 game slide to 3-8. So buckle up. All I know is that I wouldnt want to be a radio talk show host whose job is to interview jerry.
Just ask him how his grand kids are doing and what concerts and sporting events he has coming up, outside of football of course.

The reality is Jerry knows he screwed up. He said he was sorry to the fans.
But what are you expecting him to do about it today?

Is someone giving us their entire offensive line?
Are we getting a new DC and a new DL in here this week?

There is nothing he can do now.
He screwed up.
Fans have been saying this for 2 decades now and he hasn't changed his ways. We said we want a real GM to construct the roster and draft. He hasn't done that. Who cares about "I'm sorry" when your actions speak otherwise. You can be sorry all you want but if you don't change, then you are still the same selfish person that doesn't want to change or care about what the other thinks.. This goes for life's relationships in general.

The answer is simple. We got blown out by Green Bay last year and in the offseason Jerry allowed a bunch of solid players to leave. He replaced them with lesser players. The team is worse. No one should be surprised.

Look at who left. Tony Pollard, Michael Gallup, Tyron Smith, Dorance Armstrong, Donte Fowler, Jonathan Hankins, Neville Gallimore, Stephon Gilmore. Did I miss anyone? I suppose you could argue that Gallimore was no good, but the rest of these guys contributed last year. The only positive addition is Kendricks.

I understand it is a business and you have to let guys go because of the CAP, but when you replace them with lesser players the team suffers. This is what Dallas is dealing with. If Jerry really wanted to win this year, he should have tried to keep some of these players. Gilmore was available after Bland got hurt. Jerry never made the call. How could he not know this season wasn't going to be a down year? He may be surprised by how bad the beat downs have been, but he can't seriously be shocked that they are losing.
...Agreed Creeper. My biggest gripe was bringing back MM.

Im definitely convinced, he has low football IQ. Rodgers won him that SB ring. Not other way around.

I didnt listen to the radio interview but read about it...

I agree with Jerry completely. No reasonable person wouldnt.

So...all you have to do as an interviewer is highlight some of the good things he has done recently and then ask him about the bad things...in a non-confrontational manor and seem genuine in curiosity.

Not that hard.

Whether scripted drama that Jerry was in on or not...I agree with Jerry..."dont glaze over the good and only talk about the bad"
What do you see as good in the last 29 years?

The draft is not really the problem. When we pick best player available we do a pretty good job.

When we enter the draft with glaring holes, we get backed into a corner and end up reaching.

That problem is created by Jerry not wanting to spend money on FA.

Depends on what your contract looks like.

Anyone directly employed by Jerry has to agree with Jerry. Or he will not ask and just trade for Trance without your input.
