Not necessarily. While Dallas has been beating the spread. They have not always been betting favorites. So Vegas has actually came up by Cowboys success.

Yea, I got to work also so I am going to miss the game as well......I DVR the game, but I cant resist checking the score first to see if we won. If we lose, I just delete the game and pretend it never happened

It's obviously going to be revealing.

We have to be prepared for things to tighten up closing out the season.

Adversity has not really presented itself for us.

The next 5 games tells us who we are.

The pressure is squarely on us now.

Probably some of the same over optimistic cowboy fans on here that expected us to wipe the floor with arguably the best defense in the league on the road.

COWBOYS closed at -3 here we see how the money was looking at that spread. The refs job is to keep the score with in that range, that's why you see terrible calls at times. Follow the money and you'll see why refs favor a certain outcome.

The spread are points the casinos give to even out bets. For example this Sunday coming up, the pats play the Rams. If you would to ask anyone who they think will win, chances are they say Patriots.

So in order to avoid lopsided bets the casinos give you points to encourage you to take the underdog.

In the above example the casinos are giving the Rams +14 points. This means that the Patriots must win by more then 14 points in order win the bet.

If the you pick the Rams +14 and they lose something like 21 to 10 you still win the bet because you got the Rams plus 14 points.

I don't know if this makes sense but, that's how it works.

The spread is simple. Cowboys at -3 means the Cowboys has to win by more than 3

If it is Cowboys +3, means we can lose by 2 and still win..

So tonight we were -3, if you bet on the Cowboys, the Cowboys had to win by 3. So everyone who bet tonight on us lost because we only won by 2

We had major penalties or turnovers on just about every possession. Cowboys winning by 3+ wouldn't have been a big stretch. And winning by 3 or 4 wouldn't really be considered wiping the floor.

Interesting .. before the game (almost all year) I was mostly happy with the low number of penalties we commit. Last night I was wondering why all of a sudden flags are flying from all directions... and some were so suspicious ..

I used to gamble all the time and I swear there were times where shady stuff went on. I stopped gambling though.. tired of the games.
