Dallas gets the homefield obligatory 3 so it's a toss up.

But I gotta say, after the games yesterday, particularly GB-WAS, BUF-MIN and DET-NE, I am glad I stopped betting.
Good for you, I got destroyed yesterday.

Vegas knows if they open Dallas as dogs they'll get millions of bets from Cowboys fans, all on one side of the line (they don't want that).

Vegas doesn't make money by gambling. They make money by taking bets and leveraging the line. That way, they win no matter who wins.

Love how the plumbers and electricians here know more than someone whose only job all day every day is to analyze what number the bets will come in on both sides at.

I think Patricia might know the Pats pretty well

Does Bud Fox have info about companies were his dad isn't on the board like Bluestar Airlines?

I'm not sure how much that plays into it. Many coaches have played their old team without success.

For real, I think Detroit might be in for a letdown game. Those big emotional games take a lot out of a team and it's hard to get your head straightened out and play hard next week. Look at GB losing to Washington and Minnesota laying an absolute egg vs a horrible Bills team to see how that narrative goes. I think Detroit is a better club than us, but this week, we could be that Bills team.

Detroit's defense has looked kind of iffy so far, minus Patricia abusing the Pats. I think a motivated D-1 college team could stop Dak right now, but Zeke should get some feeding. On offense, Detroit's looking about as well-rounded as they ever have and they're going to be a challenge.

Jerry will demand to run Dak this game, we will see similarities from week two. We will win being all-world again. Dak will once again be the franchise while Garrett grins and claps behind his cool sunglasses.

Fast forward to the Texans and the gameplan will be reverted to it's norm. Dak will suck again and all coaches should be burned at the stake. We have watched this movie over and over.

Not sure who the head coach and GM will be this week.....Jerry, Stephen and Jason all leap-frogging each other. When you have no direction, you have chaos.

Only morons bet this upcoming game, no one knows if Jekyl or Hyde shows up........that goes for both teams. That under sure looks nice.....that is clue #1 that the OVER is a sure thing

NFL is just a weird league. Anyone can win week to week. Look at what happened to the Pats and Vikes yesterday.

That said, I just don't see our offense is going to get it done. Get used to eight in the box the entire season as nobody fears our WR/TE corp.

Do you think we even take a deep shot in this game?

I say no but our offense is like a really stinky can of worms, you never know which plays they're going to run aside from runs on 1st down and passes on 2nd down.

Detroit is flying high off a big win and will have a letdown.

Dallas is coming off a dumpster fire loss and will play better.

It won't be enough...

It boils down to the QB on two bad teams.

Stafford vs Dak

Detroit wins by at least 8

I'm counting on Garrett's habit of over-performing once he's cornered to get us the win. He'll actually put some thought into more than one game plan, let Dak run read option and pull out all of the wacky plays: flea flicker, on-side kicks, punter keeps, etc. to get back in the black. Then the following week, we'll lay an egg, Linehan will get fired and Garrett will usher in his next sacrificial lamb to call plays. Jason may be a below-average coach but he's one of the best at saving his own skin.

Lions just tooled the Patriots. I think they have to be considered the favorites in this game.

Looking at our schedule, I thought we could win a few games in a row early here, but I still would not be surprised if we lost out the rest of the season.

Agree. And what's better is that with Mayfield starting for Cleveland it looks like they will win some games this year, probably more than us so that top pick may be within grasp.
Ok seriously though looks like 5-11ish. JG always window dresses a season with some meaningless wins to save his job.
