about 1/2 mile from White Rock Lake in Lakewood

I grew up about 1/4 mile from the original practice facility that was on Forest Lane near LBJ in the 70's & 80's........it was a blast. We had tons of players that lived in the neighborhood and we would knock on their door and get autographed photos. We'd also stand on boxes and watch practices over the fence or from the hotel balcony by the field, then we'd hang out in the parking lot and talk to the players after practice. GOOD TIMES!
