Dallas Stars - 2018 Season Therad

Yay! This looks like it is going to be a fun season with the new coach who prefers high tempo on both offense and defense.

This should open Spezza back up and now we have Miro and Honka who both fit in with Monty's coaching style.

Miro Heiskanen.

This kid is only 19 years old and the video below is only his second shift ever in the NHL and he was owning the Arizona Coyotes. (he is #4 in this video)



This kid is going to be scary good. I can't tell you how excited I am that the Stars stole him via the draft lottery at #3 overall.

Heiskenin is going to be great, but the Stars are still a 1-line team.

It's good to have maybe the best in hockey, but I'm having a hard time seeing even a quality third line after those guys. Faksa, Shore, Pitlick, Comeau, Janmark...these guys are all bottom-six players. Unless Dickinson makes massive strides over the course of the year, or they pull off a big trade, hard to imagine them making any noise.
