To make the playoffs now we need the whole NFC South and the Vikings to lose out. Brad Johnson is undefeated since Daunte's injury. And the Bucs seem to be playing great defense.

I felt this was a must win for us because the Giants have a much easier schedule for the rest of the season.
Sure if we win more of our last four games than the Giants do we are in but the fact is it will be easier for them. So it is not over yet but we made it more difficult for us to get there. Curly

The team that WANTED the division crown, truly WANTED it won today. Thats whats eating me right now. We could have ended it today. Now we'll be playing catch up.

The Giants own tie breaker #3 between us, which is record vs common opponents:
Currently, the Giants are 6-2 and we are 5-4.

If the Giants lose to Philly and Wash, as was presumed above, then they would end up 8-4 in common games.

If the Cowboys beat everyone but Carolina, we would also be 8-4 in common games, which would bring us to the next tie breaker.

The conference tie breaker is #4.

I believe we will run the table and finish up with a 4 game winning streak.
