I didn't include New England, Pittsburgh, and Denver. I was just doing the NFC. Maybe Baltimore and Indianapolis, but I don't think so.

I'm not sure of Denver.

They lost Clady......Again. Brought in a guy their new head coach had previously cut. Never heard of their center......Their OL is a mess.

Gonna take some miracle coaching.

I'm with you. And I want to see Peyton throw again. He looked awful late in the season.

And Dallas doesn't?

All teams have problems these days.

I'm hoping the Cowboys fixed some of these problems. They did a lot more to improve the defense than the Packers did.

But Rodgers is the best player in football, and that's the best offense in the league.

Rodgers is very good, that's true. Is that the best Offense in the League? It's possible but there are two sides of the LOS and I just am not all that impressed with their defense. I like Az better and I like us better and I probably like Seattle better then I do GB in the NFC. I could be way off here and they could dust or butts this year but right now, if I had pick, I would not pick GB over some of those other teams. Guess we'll see what happens.

I think our defensive talent is going to surprise some folks this year. I think we might have a really good defense if a few things go our way.

Favorites is strong but I can see it. A lot of good injury fortune is needed. I see them in the mix with Hawks, Pack, Vikes, Panthers, Cards, and Eagles in NFC.

All the Cowboys need to be destroying people like the old Cowboys is a top 5 defense. By mid season, if healthy, that is a possibility.

Nope, but close.

Super Bowl chances:

1. Green Bay
2. Dallas
3. Seattle
4. Arizona

I don't think anybody else has much of a chance.

Well I don't think you can just discount the Pats. Yes they lost Revis, but they still have a great roster. I think the Steelers could also make a push in the AFC. Colts could have a shot, though I don't think they'll make it. Also Denver.

I do, too, but in this age, all defenses give up yardage and points.

I didn't write that well. I was only looking at the NFC.

I don't think as highly of GB myself. I don't like their secondary depth much.

In terms of the matchup between the Packers and Cowboys? I'm taking the Cowboys. Call me a homer, but I think Dallas has improved upon it's weaknesses much better than Green Bay has from the last time the two teams met.

If Romo and Dez stay healthy....we have as good a shot as anyone else in the NFC. Every other position on the team...the drop off in talent from the best guy to the next best guy is not as significant or can be covered with quality depth..i.e. LB, DB, DL, OL, TE, RB. But the talent gap/depth behind Romo is not good enough....and the talent gap/depth behind Dez is not good enough to overcome either player being lost for the season or an extended period

I say this without having any idea how the running game is going to fare. But be clear...we have to and will run the ball. We do not need an 1800 yard back. But we could use a 1000 yard back, a 500 yard back and a 300 yard back. In fact...I hope is the way they are going to approach it. None of these guys have ever proven to be "the guy" at this level...so I hope they are approaching training camp and the season with the mindset of getting all the guys ready to play THEIR role. I hope they do not get fooled with Randle or McFadden giving you 125 yards in week one...and forecast that being the way it is going to be for the foreseeable future. We made that mistake with Julius Jones and he was never the same...and quite frankly burning him out cost us a shot at the Super Bowl in 2007. We used the bye to insert Marion Barber as the starter...and he played great in the 1st half. He was gassed by halftime....and Julius was salty for getting benched...so he gave very little effort when his number was finally called in that game. The RBs on this team can get the job done as a collective unit.

The Cowboys should definitely be considered as ONE of the favorites to go all the way but to say they're THE favorite really seems something of a stretch. Great luck with injuries will be huge in any favorable determination.
