I have to say the sacks are going to be pretty tough to come by going forward. It will be hard to get to wentz, ryan, wilson, smith, Rivers and carr.

Manning and cousins seem to be the games where they can get home but the rest will be a struggle because they can run the ball and or the qb's are mobile.

Philly will likely be without their starting LT when we play them in a few weeks.

Likely? They put him in an air cast when I was watching last night.

Reports are the damage was less severe than initially thought. He might only have a MCL tear, not an ACL tear, and depending on the severity he could be back by the end of the season and the playoffs. So he's likely out for Week 11 but could be back by Week 17 (although I doubt that game will matter for Philly as I suspect they'll have the division wrapped up by then).

He's getting a MRI today.

Jags remind me of that really good 49ers team from a few years ago. If you suck for so long, eventually those high draft picks will pay dividends.

Unless you’re the Browns.

Same with the Rams this year. I knew Wade would get that defense playing good ball.

Aven8, FWIW the reports are now the MRI showed an ACL tear too for Peters. He's done.

Jacksonville gets the benefit of playing Indy and Tennessee twice a year. Below avg Lines for sure.

Surprised our sack rate isn't higher, all things considered.

Chiefs and Eagles give up sacks at a reasonable rate. And then there's the Giants, Seahawks, and, for now, Commanders who have troubles. And we're putting up those numbers with our (second?) best rusher only playing 2 games so far. We should be able to keep it going.

Hicks blew out his Achilles as well.. Eagles will barely get the wild card by tie breaker.. Mark it down. WE got the division.

depends on how much leadershipping we want to do around here.

No but they get the ball out and have command of the offense. That is what I meant. I thought it was pretty obvious considering I mentioned them by name. It’s hard to sack Ryan, rivers, smith etc because they have a great running game or they are mobile.

Like I said sacks will be hard to come by because these teams will run the ball effectively. I know you nit pick everything I say to try to prove some point but if you don’t think Atlanta, San Diego, kc etc will not run the ball on us that is a different issue I guess

Smith gets sacked a lot (3 per game). The Chiefs line is not that good. Smith can run, but he's not like Wilson back there.

Sacks per game is better than total sacks, but sacks per drop back (or sack%) is even better than that. The Cowboys rank 7th.

Football Outsiders takes sack % and adjusts it for down, distance, and opponent. Dallas ranks 9th in adjusted sack rate. Scroll down a little bit on that page and you see that our DL ranks 28th vs the run, but that's another topic.
