Eagles are resting most their starters including Jaylen…

If we come out there and lose to their 2nd and third string it would be catastrophic,

Our players took a rest last week. Well at least the offense did.

The Eagles can't improve their seeding at all.. If they sit a bunch of guys and then the Cowboys come out and stumble around it can do a lot of damage to the Cowboys mentally. They need to come out and stomp Philly.. and use our big dogs to do it..

It's a dilemma. Dak and the offense need to find some sort of groove. But the weather is gonna be cold as hell and do you really want to open up Dak or T Smith or Elliott to a re-injury, for example?

Defensively, I'd probably sit guys for sure. Offense? Maybe roll with them for a couple of series and then yank them?

Smith needs snaps, IMO. He's always a slow starter coming back from sitting.

Technically, they can improve their seeding. They aren't locked into a playoff seed yet. But it appears they don't really care whether they are the 6th seed or the 7th seed.

I'm an old school guy frankly.. Football players play football. If you're worrying about getting hurt you need to go join the pro poker circuit or pick up golf.

Win or lose, it's a no win situation in many eyes....
I would rest Dak and Zeke, I don't think either is completely heathly, play the OLine into the third quarter.... they need their continuity.....sub freely on defense. Play to win, but do it smartly....

Ironically the Eagles may prefer to lose and be the 7th seed because that increases the chances that they play the Cowboys in the first round and they may feel they matchup better with a division foe than the other three 12 win teams..

no, you play them. at least for one half and you don't worry about the score. you try to clean up things you are struggling with. you treat it like a preseason game dress rehearsal. so even if you lose. you lose.....the goal at this point is not to win the game, but to get ready for post season and clean up our act

I don’t see anything good coming from the game if Philly rests most of their starters and we play ours. We would be in a no-win situation. If the team doesn’t play well the fan base is going to be even more discouraged and I can’t imagine the team having any confidence.

How does it increase the odds of them facing the Cowboys?

But if they did find a way to face off in the first round, history shows that if a team goes 2-0 against a divisional opponent and then they meet in the playoffs, 70% of the time the 2-0 team wins the playoff game too.

If I'm coaching I don't let the other team pick my starters.. I don't care what the Eagles do.. I do what my team needs to do.. and frankly this team needs to play and find a rhythm.. especially the offense. The line got the preseason starting lineup to play together for the first time all season last Sunday. We need to give those guys more time together.. Tyron was out 4 weeks after playing what 2 games after his first 4 game absence? That dude needs to play. And if he plays.. the rest of them need to play..
