That was obviously Washington's MO and basically it worked out but KM tried a few times to make them successful. Clearly the run wasnt an option.

No, even when it is not working very well you keep doing it at least some; if you abandon the run completely bad things tend to happen. We have seen that WAY TOO MUCH on this team.
