We know we're gonna have a strong running game. Zeke, Morris, Dunbar, and Darrius Jackson forms what is easily the deepest backfield in Cowboys' illustrious history. We'll ground and pound teams.

Looking at BTB, I learned that 14 of our 16 opponents this year are not very good against the pass: http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2016...s-in-2016-against-below-average-pass-defenses

Linehan will have teams truly having to pick their poison when they play us. And we should dominate TOP with our running game. 30ppg is a very strong possibility.

Dunbar and DJackson made the team?

Depends on the health of Mr Romo.

Cut, for a mere $100K. Don't get me wrong, I like DMC. But his best ability should be availability. With his injury history, I could easily see Stephen cutting ties with him. There's nothing he can do that isn't already duplicated:

1) Pass blocker: Zeke
2) Pass catcher: Zeke, Dunbar
3) Runner: Zeke, Morris (esp in ZBS)

If Jackson is a good ZBS runner, DMC is a goner.

Looking forward to it!

But come on...Deepest backfield ever?
Before two of them listed have ever taken a snap?

You know, we did have BOTH Tony Dorsett and Hershall Walker on the same team at one time.

Awe man, why you wanna wreck my thread like that? Well, that's only TWO deep! :D

I don't know if we would average that high, but I would love it if they went for two more often. Heck if they were at 50% efficiency, that would match being 100% at extra points.

How great would it be to take the opening drive for a touchdown against the Giants and then as soon as the ref spots the ball you line up for two as Romo never left the field. Balls. 8-0. Have the opponent chasing that point all game. Even if we don't convert, I would love the decision.

Probably not. In 2014 they ran for 2354 yards.... only 1 team in NFL history has ever ran for more yards and averaged 30. 30 ppg is the realm of passing teams.
