You have to admit, my friend, that had Rhodes not fumbled on the kickoff return, the game would've been different in Indy.

Jockey for draft position? At 8-6 there's not a lot of room for jockeying. Plus that, the strength of this year's draft is defense, not offense. There're a couple of tackles worthy of the first round, but the boys won't move up to be able to get those guys.

The only area S.D. owned Indy was in the running game. Take away the 83-yard TD run and the offenses were pretty even. Just like last week, take away the flea-flicker to Glenn, and the Cowboys would've lost.

Parcells doesn't seem to want to take the blame for the game either. I guess when you're annointed as the savior of the team, you can do no wrong.

I feel pretty bad for JJ. He's done what people wanted him to do. Bring in a legit head coach, spend money on free agents after last years dormancy in free agency. He spent so much money, and really hasn't had much to show for it. Rivera stinks. Henry is good, but he get's injured so our cornerback position, though upgraded, still is problematic. Ferguson really hasn't done much.

Maybe Tags has it in for JJ after all.

I hope the boys win every game. I am hoping for the playoffs and will be behind them through the whole season. It is funny to see so many so called cowboy fans stop supporting the team at 8-6 and still in it. Oh well for the real Cowboys fans on this board I know who you are from your posts. Go Cowboys! Really don't need a sermon from you today Murph. I can be a fan of the team and support them, but I don't have to be a fan of the coach and support him. How many of you were calling for Campo's head? How about Chan Gailey? Please don't tell me you thought all was well when they were holding the clipboard. The only reason people are saying, "just give him one more year" is because of who he is.

We can criticize assitant coaches, but not the head coach? We can ask for a new defensive coordinator, but not a new head coach? Where's the logic with that? $hit doesn't stink just at the bottom. The smell's at the top, too.

It's a one-game season essentially. You can't ask for much more in the NFL in week 16 than to still have a chance at 10 wins. It will be a great game Saturday. If they win it, bank on the St. Louis game.

After yesterday, we're all inclined to say "That's a wrap", game set match. But do I think Dallas can rebound against the Panthers? Not bloody likely. Carolina will be playing hard, motivated, at home, readying for the playoffs. I dont see too many positives for the Cowboys right now, and yes, I feel for Jerry Jones, too. His team laid an egg yesterday- no excuses.

I'd love for the Cowboys to make the playoffs just as much as the next fan. But with the way this team is playing, I'd have more luck at going down on Jessica Simpson than the Cowboys making the playoffs.

I'm tired of people thinking you have to be an eternal optimist to be considered a "fan." Hey, I live and die with the Boys. But I'm also smart enough to see a team without the heart to get back off the ground after getting knocked down and doing something about it. I don't see the fire in this team.
