I've been compiling a database of every seasons wins and losses for all 32 teams in the NFL and an amazing stat jumped off the page at me.

Right now Dallas has the 13th most wins in NFL History with 447 regular season wins.

Indianapolis is 12th with 451 wins. If they lose out, and we win out we would pass them. Now get this, we started play in 1960, they started in 1953. 7 whole seasons more than we have played. Give the success they have had under Peyton Manning and the downturn we have had in recent years it also means we were already ahead of them at one point despite the head start they have.

If you add in post season wins, we have 33 and they have 18. That puts us at 480 to their 469.

Some sites count the Cleveland Browns AAFC wins and losses. If those are not counted, they are at 453 wins and 11 in the post season. They got started in the NFL in 1950, but of course they were out of the NFL from 1996 to 1999.

It goes to show you how good of a coach Landry was. They truly had almost a 20 year dynasty. I doubt that will ever be repeated...

I feel like this should be left here...

Are the percentages of playoff seasons available? Dallas is 30/52 for 58%. That should improve this season.

Bellicheck in NE is in his 12th season, and has won 3 SBs and been to 1 other. May happen in NE
