Dallas is back on TNT! This is one of my favorite shows besides SOA and Justified on FX. Anyone else here enjoy watching Dallas? I was little when my dad and stepmom began watching the original. At that time, I only watched the intro to the show because it had the ariel view of Texas Stadium and showed one of the big blue endzones with the old Dallas Cowboys - Roger Staubach-looking helmets on it. Plus I loved the theme song. At one time, it was my ringtone on my smart phone. I might bring it back just for the new season.

Anywho, this is my dirty, little secret. I love the night-time soap, Dallas.

The women are hot, the intrigue is good and they throw in a murder or two. What more can one ask for in a show?

Who asked you Roger Ebert!? And when did it become a comedy?

No where did I say the acting was top-notch. Ha. I do like the plots and have been really getting into the various characters. Yeah I know, it's not everyone's cup-of-tea; but for me, it's entertaining. Why do you think I love my Dallas Cowboys so much?

You could most likely say that about a number of shows back then, viewed now thru the prism of time.I always thought "Winds of War"', "War and Rememberance"' "Rich Man, Poor Man"', "Once An Eagle", and other shows that I thought were great back then, weren't acted as great as I thought they were, and were in fact, rather cheesy.

How is this show going? Thought about watching it solely because I am from Dallas, but the way a few local radio stations are basically trying to force it down our throats, I've become resistant.

But I'm also easily entertained and can get hooked on just about any show.
