29: R1 P29 G Kenyon Green - Texas A&M
61: R2 P29 TE Jeremy Ruckert - Ohio State
93: R3 P29 LB Owen Pappoe - Auburn
131: R4 P29 WR Ainias Smith - Texas A&M
142: R4 P40 OT Jamaree Salyer - Georgia
171: R5 P29 LB Chad Muma - Wyoming
207: R6 P28 WR Erik Ezukanma - Texas Tech

Kenyon Green - starting LG by mid year. If already set, he could play any position along line.
Jeremy Ruckert - starting TE by mid year. Nice size, blocking and hands
Owen Pappoe - Neal backup and/or replacement. Awesome speed, good coverage almost DB tweener.
Ainias Smith -- 3rd WR. Quickness is awesome. Coop, CD, Smith, Simi, Vasher, Turner -- nice 6 each with a role that could be utilized.
Jamaree Salyer -- developmental OL with high athleticism and huge size. Not sure if OT or OG in Pros.
Chad Muma -- LVE replacement -- MLB with very good instincts and size -- hard to believe he lasts this long
Erik Ezukanma -- much like Steele a guy from Tech you grab and then see what you have.

Your thoughts, if it fell this way, and Dallas took these players?

If you are drafting a interior OL in the first round, and he isnt a walk in starter, then its a wasted pick. If we pick Green, he is our uncontested starter at LG as soon as the pick is made. We dont have anyone at LG that would put him on the bench outside of Collins. And of Collins is your LG, there is no reason to pick Green

Agreed, as far as 1st round picks go. I was just saying that Green has played all the OL positions, is a huge and strong man with very good athleticism. He could play any position we deem as needed -- like maybe C, even if you moved LC to LG or LT as needed. While I don't know if he would be an all Pro at tackle, he has the strength, size and feet for it.

I don't know about C or LT, but he should be a Pro Bowl caliber RT or G

Green is my second Ikem is first but I don’t think they’ll make it to us. So if Green falls to us I’m good no I’m very happy. If there’s a good kicker I’m good with that

If we are drafting 29, I'd say 40/60 Green is there. If he is, its hard to imagine him not being BPA

Green is an obvious choice. I think he is one of maybe 15-20 players that will carry a 1st round grade. I could also see WR being in play. This team will have handful,of players that carry a similar grade. And in that group they will hope to get the player that fills their need. Parsons,Horn, and Surtain carried similar grades. Parsons was the higher rated player but the corners were the target. Will see how it pans out.

Not bad but Chad Muma is the NCAA leading tackler this season and he can run fast. I'm thinking he is a Day 2 pick.

Pappoe is extremely fast. I'm expecting possibly a 4.3 forty from him. He is a little LB,but someone is going to fall in love with his speed.

Green is a solid pick also Jamaree Sayler imo is a OG at the pro level. Sayler maybe goes Round 3.

I need to watch more on Smith. The other WR pick is a luxury pick. Maybe a edge rusher instead.

Ruckert reminds me of a Dallas style pick.

I agree. I expect the last three to all be drafted higher than I picked them. But as with CD, if they fall --- you take them and smile all the way.

Why these mocks are drafting TEs with top 3 picks?????? If Shulz walks, we can find his replacement with a mid-lower level free agent. Besides, asking a rookie to start and play at a high level is reaching IMO ( esp if we draft around the bottom 5 range).

This is a great TE draft and our needs are slim but do include TE. I fully expect a day 2 pick at the position because it fulfills BPA as well as need.

If there’s ever a draft to take a TE it’s this one. Sure a starting caliber guy might fall to round 4-5 but taking one earlier is far from egregious. Remember with Shultz gone we are depending on an injury-prone one-dimensional guy in Jarwin. He might even be a cap casualty. We’ll be looking to bring a starter in and it’s going to be hard to expect a mid-round pick to do that early in his career.

I would be A-ok with a TE in round 3. Want to go OG and LB with the first two. We should also have a compensatory pick in round 3 so we might see two players taken there. I think it’s prime TE territory.

Honestly, I'm just starting to spend a little time on the 2022 draft. The question is still can we replace Shultz via 2nd or 3rd rounder? Otherwise, whose the starter while grooming your draft pick.

Not sure if we’ll hit but that talent is there. Unfortunately it’s a position that takes a year or adjust to. It’s still murky right now in terms of who’s penciled in as the starter if Shultz is gone. Could be a 1-year prove it deal type guy like Njoku. Could be a committee with Jarwin, McKeon, and a day 2 pick.

Going to be interesting to see.
