Dalton is not better than Dak

I would agree.. Dak is probably behind Mahomes, Rodgers and Wilson. I am not willing to put any other QBs in the current NFL ahead of him. Especially the way he was playing before he got hurt. I think he is every bit as good as Watson and Jackson. The difference is that Dak has only been a "passing" QB since he got to the NFL. We all know he was pretty much a single wing tailback at MSU because that's what Mullen needed him to be in order to carry that team ... The thing that the Dak haters can't admit is that Dak is still improving. He took a huge step forward last year and then another huge step this year. Only a blind man would fail to see it and only an idiot would refuse to admit it. Because Dak is still getting better I don't think we can definitively say he will "never be as good as" so and so. He's already good enough to win a Super Bowl if we could just pair him with an above average defense. By the time he's 30 he could be the best in the game. And he will be all ours.. But there will still be people pining for Romo. Some things never change.

You’re 100% right. Dak is still improving. For some reason some people have this false idea that QB’s don’t keep improving throughout their career.

I have no doubts Dak will continue to get even better as long as his ankle heals 100% which I am confident that it will.

Blame Zeke and Gallup for first half.

If you want to be upset with Dalton at least say he didn’t put up a bunch of empty calories while we were way behind like Dak does in our losses.
Dak gave this team a chance to win every week even with this putrid defense and 3rd string o-line.

Under the same circumstances there is no chance with Dalton. None. Zero.

Now you may think these guys are the same because they both has losses, but I assure you they are not.

Prescott is a threat to run - Dalton is not. Prescott is a threat throwing deep utilizing our WR talent - Dalton not so much.
Prescott had nearly 8 yards per play - Dalton under 4.

And didn't I hear that Dalton was a better pocket passer? I mean, I saw him just stand there a few times, maybe that's what they meant.

25 years of Jerry ball does that to fans.
I agree 100%. I’m tired of seeing this culture of losing they’ve created. I’d have hoped in the prime of my life I’d see postseason success, but that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

LMAO.. you also left out one threw two picks which should have been three.. one was at home .. and one was on the road playing his first game under a new coaching staff with no preseason. Oh yeah.. one guy had his team down 21-3 at the half and the other guy had his team ahead at the half and led the team to 17 points.. until the two time defensive player of the year took over and destroyed the offensive line. Oh and that same guy completed a 50 yard bomb to Gallup that set his team up in easy FG range if not in position to score a TD for an outright win until a very questionable offensive PI call took it away. But yeah.. other than those tiny things no real difference.

Look man, you can make excuses all day long, but at the end of the day, Dak and Dalton are both average. They both had similar performances against strong defenses.

In what universe is a 92.5 passer rating "similar" to a 62 passer rating? How does 4.9 yards per attempt look "similar" to 6.8? There was nothing remotely similar about these two performances. One guy was in a position to win the game at the end and was only kept from that opportunity by a sorry *** PI call.. The other was chuckin' up fades trying to get a cosmetic touchdown to keep his team to WITHIN TWENTY EIGHT!

There is losing and there is being embarrassed. Dak lost.. Dalton was embarrassed.

Quite frankly, I'm embarrassed by both of them. Less so by Dalton, because Dak gets every excuse a person can possibly get from a ridiculous fan base. Nothing's ever Dak's fault, no matter how much he stinks up the place. We were 1-3 with Dak before he got hurt, who already this season put up a game performance almost identical to the one we saw last night. Some of you need to get real.

Now the excuses are coming in "Does losing 38-31 vs 38-10 mean anything?" Yes. Yes it does.
Funny how NO MATTER WHAT, Dak will NEVER get the appreciation he deserves. Tonight's game proves that.
Few years back I call Dak a bus driver. His game has improved a lot. We all remember the days when he'd have a receiver wide open and bounce it off the turf. There are fans who hate on him just to have a Bogeyman. If you know the game you can win with Dak. This was the worst game all season and Dak didn't play. This team has bigger problems then Dak Prescott like
1. Jerry Jones
2. Steven Jones
3.Mike McCarthy & Mike Nolan- Garrett won 8 games with this team?
4. Offensive line & The whole defense. all the coaches
Some Cowboy fan spend to much time listen to sports media that tell them Dak Sucks. Well I'm a older Cowboys fan the same Media said Aikman sucked too. The moment Dak stops wearing a Cowboys uniform watch what they say

Liking a player is fine reaction but to take it to the level of idolizing that is a danger zone

Some people dramatically oversold themselves on Dalton. They haven't watch Dalton in years, or possibly ever. He has only had a couple years in his career was he was an above average QB. Most of his career he was a lowered tier starting QB.

Just for the record I think some of you are referring to me and I consistently said Dak was better than Dalton..

I said Dalton could get Dak like results and being 1-3 on the season with Dak I have no doubt that if that game unfolded the same way it did on Dalton we take an L.. Maybe Dak makes the L a littler prettier but it would still be an L.
Stand up and be a man and admit you were wrong instead of back tracking and looking so weak.

It's funny how all of Dak's "garbage time offense" suddenly isn't if the defense can get a stop.

Dalton Defenders and the Anti-Dak crowd will say that it's just one game for Dalton, but then they made it sound like Dalton would automatically come in and play like 2017 playoff Foles starting with the MNF game against Arizona. Now they'll mention that the team was 1-3 with Dak, yet they were the ones who guaranteed that this team and offense would be much better with Dalton in the first place.

They'll say that we shouldn't judge Dalton off of one full time game and yet everyone was ready to crown him the savior of the Cowboys season based off of less than a half a game that was played against the Giants.
