Dane Brulger was just on the the Cowboys Draft show with Broaddus.

They were just finishing up the show and someone called in with a Randall Question.

Brugler let out some info. Said he talked with Randall last week and that Randall said that of all the teams who he has talked with, The Cowboys showed the most interest.

Take it for what it is worth. Might mean nothing once the draft starts.

Scares me when a player goes from a 4th round prospect to a 1st round prospect in the space of 12 weeks with no football games being played. Plus, he is an awful tackler who takes bad angles and looks like he is afraid to get his uniform dirty.

Randall is my worst case scenario at 27. I'm just not a big fan. He's got talent but I view him more as a 3rd rounder

I am not even sure about worst case. I don't care for him so much that I am wishing him upon the Eagles in the first.

The fact that Dallas has taken the player considered "the best at their position" in the draft the past 5 years should worry us all considering they have said that they do in fact consider him the best safety in this class.

He very well may be the best safety in this draft. The bad news is that this is not a great class.

Worst case was me being reasonable. I don't like him much either.

That's why I think Kendricks is more of a consideration at 27 than Randle. They do like to make the second round interesting. Could we see another trade up and they target Randle??

I'm getting the vibe the pick is gonna be a DB that has position flex...that can start off as a free safety...and depending on Carr's situation...can slide over to CB if push comes to shove and Carr is cut.

Sounds like Byron Jones or Eric Rowe could be the pick

Or Rollins if they trade out of the 1st.

Before we all lose our lunch over the idea that we are taking him in Rd 1. It's possibly he could be sitting there in Rd 2 and that's where the Cowboys are targeting him.

I am hoping that if the Cowboys are targeting him...It would be in the second or after a trade down.

I think a lot of things would have to happen (board pretty much completely wiped out even with their backup backup plans for the first) and they could not trade down before they would take him.

But brugler did not say anything to indicate they would target him in the first.

It was just that the Cowboys have showed the most interest in him.

.

Thank you. That's the way I read it, too.
