So you commit a crime and admit to it, but you get to play ? anybody know whats goin on with this ?

NFL will investigate for a year. He didn't throw the woman down onto the gun he had so at least he's got that going for him.

I think since Dallas has four suspended players, one seeking an injunction(Zeke), Gregory suspended a year and with Moore facing two and Irving facing four games, the league will probably wait until Moore and Irving are back before they hand down suspensions for Carroll and Wilson so Dallas doesn't have a possible 6 players suspended to start the season...

I highly doubt reports that he admitted anything. The gun charge was reduced to a misdemeanor Aug 1 when both charges were sent to a grand jury.

But instead of directly-filing the two charges with prosecutors, police are asking a Grand Jury to hear the pickup truck matter as a felony and the gun charge as a misdemeanor.

It could take a couple months for that to happen. Both Frisco Police and the Collin County DA’s office are declining comment.

If I remember correctly they said on talkin Cowboys that a witness came forward and it might have cleared some things up on Wilsons side.

Not 100% on what I exactly heard but it sounded like that's what they were talking about. It's been a couple weeks

Are you asking a serious question? Are yo. a fan, or just trying to stir the pot?

The NFL will wait to suspend him after his trial. The verdict in the trial will have nothing to do with his suspension. The NFL already shown it will do what they want and when they want.
As posted above, when it will hurt us the most. And they will be overly harsh on us, pending the outcome of the Zeke fiasco they caused.

What Wilson did was stupid. There is a lot of that going around on this team.

Once the court case is completed, he will be suspended. Probably 4 or 6 games.

Yet another Cowboys player who hurts his teammates by his off the field actions.

They have not always waited for legal proceedings to be completed but it seems that they may have changed their process such that they do wait now.

It's been 2 months in the Wilson situation and still nothing.

Jacksonville's Dante Fowler Jr was arrested in July for assault...no decision yet
Houston's D'Onta Foreman was arrested in July for drugs & gun...no decision yet

Dallas' Nolan Carroll was arrested in May for DUI...no decision yet
New Orleans' Willie Snead was arrested in June for DUI... suspended 3 games.

Darrelle Revis was arrested for assault in February...charges dropped... no discipline handed down, matter resolved after 3 months.
Tramaine Brock was arrested for assault in April...charges dropped... no decision yet.

I have no idea how the NFL deals with things. Next CBA, NFLPA needs to demand a strict window for the NFL to make decisions. Also, force the NFL to respect legal decisions (if charges dropped, no discipline)
